Chipped /Re-map is the same thing, both re-writes the ECU software to manages the new power that the car has got depending on mods. To find out the power best to get it on the rollers, because otherwise if your mates making clames of 320, and a standard jap wrx or P1 decied to have a barny, he may feel embarrest if the power isnt that of which it is clamed to be.
