  1. Merry Christmas to you John and to all of you. We hope that you all have a cracking new year too. Tony and Lou.
  2. See Here Think I might go to the bookies!!!!
  3. You could always say that this was part of the settlement!
  4. Thanks for the info. I am specifically looking for the Axxis brake pads though and the modifiedscoobys site is, as far as I can find, the only stockist in the UK. I have previously purchased them from scoobytuner.com in the past, but with the weak pound at the moment, finding somewhere closer to home makes it faster and cheaper - which is never a bad thing
  5. http://www.modifiedscoobys.co.uk/index.php I'm looking for some new brake pads that this site stocks and wonder if anyone has purchased from them in the past. Regards, Tony.
  6. Looking lovely mate, I run Bridgestone RE070's on mine and I am across the mountain every day to and from work. Rain, sleet or shine they have never let me down. Tony at Formula Fast Fit is the man who looks after me in this regard, and I'll be in for a new set in the next couple of months. Enjoy your new car
  7. Welcome to the "Smiles for miles" club!!!
  8. Needed a new car as I had written the last one off on a diesel spill Had no idea what I wanted and driving past a car sales yard the other half spotted something "blue". I noticed the number plate, which was PO55 *** - and where I come from (NZ) that would stand for "Poss", short for Possum Bourne, a legend Subaru rally driver from my neck of the woods that was killed a few years ago recceing a stage. My other half doesn't drive, she just liked the colour at the time - she still loves the colour but she seems to get just as big a kick from the sound of mine and any other scoob within earshot - there's quite a few of them here! Me, I get to drive it every working day across the mountain section of the TT course here on the Isle of Man and every time I go to and from work I am reminded of the wisdom of the decision to buy it in the first place!! My next car is also likely to be a scoob - although I think I would like a WR1 next time around.

Hi Emma Cracking car (saw the pics on XLR8) - good choice and welcome to the club.
  10. And to you John, I caught you just in time there and had to tell the missus who I was waving to. Hope that Patrick gets all he's after!!! Merry Xmas
  11. Hi Richard, How are you? All a little quiet here on the Island currently as we batten down the hatches for winter. Records for cold starts to the day are being broken and the mountain has already had a few days shut due to ice. Tony.
  12. HI Nick, Demesne Road, Douglas. It's a back section and you turn in to the first/second driveway on your left (I believe that Demesne Road is one way) Regards, Tony.
  13. Hi Nick, Personally, I have never had any issues with Formula Fast Fit. They have replaced two sets of four on the Scoob and the rims are as they were before I went in. Seem like a decent crowd in there and I get on quite well with Tony. Up to you though. Regards, Tony.
  14. 42 now, 40 when I got it. This is my first Scoob and I want a WR1 next!
  15. I have a 2 litre that requires 1/4 of a litre a month - but I am regularly well over 100mph so I guess it has a lot to do with how the car is used.
  16. It's Andy's one that I'm liking . More attention getting than the others, oh and it saves on the arguments about which model should or should not be adorned on it IMHO.
  17. Hey Richard, Great to hear from you. Yup the mountain is definitely one-way, still lovin' that trip to work every morning!!! Hope you are well. Regards, Tony.
  18. Now thats what I'm talking about! Pity it's not this time next year - right on the button for price!
