If any one out there sees us about give us a pull for a chat .......we have had a change to our running order because surprise surprise the EVO 4 has broke down before it even left wiltshire so no EVO on the trip the driver is bringing his pick-up instead ......personally i think he was scared the frod probe would show him up...lol. So coming the the island will be myself in the JDM WRX WAGON, Lee in the JDM FTO, James in the JDM Supra, Adam in the Ford Probe and Nick (JDM EVO 4 parked at home) now in the UK NISSAN D/Cab Pickup. Still need some info on places to take the ladies ...... food gaffs and day trips etc. We arrive on the island Thursday evening! Try LV Frizzell - I admit that i get a huge 75% discount - for full no claims and a member of the NHS with Advanced driver training, but i have declared my few mods, that its a jap import and my 3 points and only pay ......... sorry guys/gals £210 per year but if you take away the 60% for no claims and 15% for NHS discount and driving quals it would still come out at less than a £900 i know i know i am an old f**k at 42 so its cheaper anyway BUT give them a try. Unless anyone has had bad experiences with them mind you at my cost i want be changing.

You should never be putting in standard unleaded in any import as mapped to 100 ron (Shell V Power of Tesco 99) are both 99 Ron you should be sticking to these and nothing else for the sake of your engine life....... .......I have a 95 JDM WRX and use 99 Ron therefore a tank full cost me about £45ish and get returns of Urban/City Mix of about 200 miles per tank approx & motorway of 250-275 miles per tanks i just did a 350 mile trip on a tank and a quarter so happy with that. Remember every car is different if only slightly on fuel consumption depends on the mapping standard or modified and what's been done, etc.

Hi to all IOM members, I am coming up to the IOM early march with a group of friends i am bring my scoobie a 95 JDM WRX there is 5 of us in total unfortunatly the rest are non scoobie rides - EVO 4 / FTO / SUPRA / and the only non Jap import a Probe. Reason for my post is advice on island roads and things to be aware of & secondly stuff to do for our wives thats non-car related.....i know i know! Any tips and ideas recieved.........oh yes good eateries a must. Thanks Gary

(999 Hat On) Hi i agree with richie cross ..... we see the results of crashes close up a personal not only the injuries to the occupants and innocent parties but the look on the families as i take them into see there loved ones or worst case scenario whats left of them ...... those who get stopped speeding in should thank traffic for keeping them or another alive for a another day with there family.
