  1. LOL Bless,, hope you had a good sleep []
  2. You can count on it []
  3. "How fast did you say we were going??" or "What do you mean you were only doing 30?"
  4. Thanks folks, was great to meet those I actually got to say hello to. Car is running 1000 times better now, just need to get a new lambda ordered up.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Kinda made up for missing out on sunday by going for a blast over the mountain at lunchtime yesterday with one of the fellas from work, 't'was proper sweet dude !!!!!! car ran without the slightest hint of trouble. See you all when I get back from London. Oh and there is a little post up in the forum on your site []
  5. Whoa !!! Can you imagine [][H][:S]
  6. Looking good [H] Any pics going up from yesterdays gathering so I can see what I missed? [:'(]
  7. Thanks one and all for your concern. Apologies to Dave for ruining his afternoon, up until yesterday afternoon I had not had as much bother with the car but I think the MAF decided enough was enough and gave up completely. As Dave said we changed my MAF for the one from his car he had sitting in his garage and it instantly cured the problem. I still have the fault code for the Lambda flashing up when doing a daignostic so will get a new one ordered although the car does not splutter or miss at all now. Was absolutely gutted I did not make it to the Calf Caf', but as Dave said yesterday there will be other days and other meets. See you all next time and hopefully I will actually make it to where ever we decide to go so I can say hello to more of you than I did yesterday. Sorry again Dave and thank you.
  8. My point exactly !!! I did not actually notice if he had his flat cap on in the DVD [8-|]
  9. knowing how much organisation goes into the TT entertainment I also think it would be cutting it fine to do it this year I could also mention this to Peter Duke, I dont think it would fall within Greenlights production rights for the TT anyway, if Greenlight did not want to do it I see no reason Duke could not, am in the office tomorrow getting ready for the London Bike Show so will mention it if he is in. great idea however, have thought about this for ages. never ceases to amaze me why Tony Pond did not pick a better car though ???
  10. as long as the wind dies down and it does not [li], dont mind it being a little sh*tty cant wait, roll on the weekend []
  11. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=2194 Hmmm [:S]
  12. Hello and welcome It looks like some of us are meeting up at the grandstand on sunday at 2pm if you are able? []
  13. If you need a lift Graeme I can come get you if you like?
  14. 2 of the PM it is then [] see you there [H]
  15. After discussing it with the Mrs incase I need to use the Megane, anytime after 13:30 (thats half past one in the pm LOL) would suit me Would anyone who knows pretty much all there is to know about under the bonnets of the older cars be coming? I have loads of questions and would like for someone to take a run in my car to see if they have any suggestions to sort my problem I posted in the technical section (see link in sig).
  16. Anytime suits me really but after lunchtime I think would be best as that would maybe give me a chance to put my car back together in the morning LOL Either way I will do my best to be there, even if I have to bring Helen's Megane [:$]
  17. sounds good to me where and when ??
  18. Deffinately not the wife then []
  19. Freaky LOL Well Hels collected the car yesterday, to say I am gutted I am in Birmingham at the mo is an understatment. [:'(] At least I will get to wander round the Autosport show tomorrow and start making a list of all the bits I would like for the car [6]
  20. I would like to say it was me but unfortunately I am in Birmingham at the moment working at the Autosport Show, will be sure to take plenty pics to post up for all to see [H] Hold the phone, come to think of it, i hope my Mrs was not out joyriding in my car [] LOL
  21. Hi Tony Hopefully there will be a meet soon so us newbies can introduce ourselves [Y]
  22. Thanks Graeme, hopefully the next meet wont be too far away [H]
  23. Ooops, maybe should have kept my mouth shut, dont want to be seen inciting murder on the Island LOL [] For the record, South Coast wanted £550 +VAT for a full service and cam belt change, which I am beginning to think is not such a bad deal [:$]
  24. Ok then, so maybe South Coast is not so dear The quoted me just over £200 +VAT for a cam belt change on the WRX, but dunno if I got a better rate with my nextdoor neighbour working for them.
  25. Just a quick question for all you Manxies, I spose mainly the classic shape drivers as the newer models would still be under warrenty. Where do you all get your servicing done or do you do it yourselves? My next door neighbour works for South Coast and they charge £45 an hour for labour [] I have a certain amount of savy but am no mechanic but between the two of us we could do everything the car will ever need in my garage but obviously there is no one to blame if it is done wrong other than myself. Thanks for your time
