About Richard Green

  1. I'm trying to see if we can arrange it for TT2007.
  2. Would anyone like to see Mark Higgins or someone of the same ability try and knock the car TT record. I for one would like to approach Richard at Greenlight to see if we could arrange for this to happen for the 100th TT. 1990 was the year I think that Tony did a 102.19 lap of the TT course. Would it be possible for a high performance car to do a 120mph lap ?? http://www.iomtt.com/forums/thread/65506.aspx

  4. Some friends of mine are doing a sponsored motorbike ride next April from end 2 end. Anyone interested in doing it in their scooby ?? Or has anyone done it before ??
  5. Yeah, I don't think there would be many cars that could keep up with me or any other sportsbike on the mountain in the isle of man. I know that sounds big headed and it doesn't mean to be but a car pulling up the side of a mountain loses out straight away with straight line go.
  6. How much fuel will you go through and what about tyres ?? Cheers.
  7. Just wondered how much a trackday is going to cost with petrol, tyres, and obviously the entry fee. Just after an about sort of figure please ??
  8. Normal. Yeah, that lass can drive, mind you she knows that place like the back of her hand, I would be suprised if anyone knew it better to be honest. Get her on the TT course and it may be different.
  9. Yeah, I went to Castle Coombe last year in the Subaru's and had a great time, I did learn a lot, but still not sure how far to push it and when it might be near the limit. Thanks for the advice about the tyres though. Would it ever just suddenly let go without the tyre skreech ??
  10. I was after some advice about driving quickly. This may sound a bit silly, but here goes. I've ridden bikes for years and feel quite confident when going quickly, I know my limit is well within the bikes limit. I'm not so sure when I'm driving though. I've had my Subaru for a few months now and when out on the roads I never feel that confident, not in driving at normal speeds, but when going quickly. How do you know when your getting to the limit of the car ?? Thanks.
  11. Yeah, this was it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCHtEQVOXxk
  12. Yeah, it is nice to have a run with a fast car. My friend has just bought an Evo FQ340. I was going to follow him over the mountain section on the isle of man, but only in dry weather, that's something else where a bike doesn't have a chance, in the wet. We went out the other day in the evo across the mountain section and the grip of the evo was amazing. If anyone would like a beautiful road to come and have a run on can I suggest the isle of man mountain section. No speed limits and hardly any junctions, pure paradise. Thanks for your input.
  13. Yeah, I saw that, it was on Clarkson's Head to Head DVD. Link to it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1NWCrbYVEs
