No probs Davie,see what they say and if its something they would go for you could always start a wee thread in 'Events' and see if it gets enough interest to warrant a wee meet/open day/night sort of thing,mibbies even a wee SIDC 'Show'n'Shine with product demo's,anyways i'll leave it in your capable hands.

Davie,did you take this idea any further?now that the summer is here there might be a few more folk interested in this,maybe a wee meet that doesn't clash with the usual Glasgow one?I'm heading over this week for a few bits'n'pieces myself.

Hi,and welcome from a 'non member'

I'm glad to hear there's others with Godspeed grooved discs and Kevlar pads,unfortunately for me i paired them up with "refurbished" calipers on an exchange basis,that was less than 10 months ago,car has only done a couple of thousand miles since then,but now the pistons are sticking and i even had to force the car to drive forward in the driveway to free them off the discs,not a pretty sound i can tell you,and of course i nearly shot through the garden fence! And to top it all off,after freeing the calipers it is now obvious that the discs are warped,whoop,de frickin doo!

Damn! i had a big caricature of a scooby with flashing lights and a pitbull sticking its head out the window all ready to go......spoilsports!

Oh and another wee thing that i'm finding a bit annoying today (can you tell i've got the day off),why is there not a line under or a box around "pinned" stuff?

Yeh,i spotted that Dunc,but i just havnt got the time to do that,i'm always washing my car.....whereas you on the other hand....

I tried a 75x75 pic but it just says "you are allowed '0' url's in your signature" i guess that means i cant upload of flickr like i do on the forum, as there isnt an option to upload a pic from my pc i havnt got a clue.! I know what you mean about pics in sigs being a bit chavvy,it would be good to put a car to a name if you know what i mean, but without having to click on someones profile or gallery. Then again as you say this is open to abuse and before long theres silly pics with flashing lights and banners.........no need!

hire a power washer/chemical cleaner from Speedy Hire,they've got depots everywhere,i'm sure their number is on those red vans you see flying around.
