Agree Ian's got deals on for discs / pads during May and his discs are guaranteed against warping even through track use Craig.
-
Cheers Iain, you couldna maybe ping up a couple of trim shots just to see the end result wi the AG stuff could ye ?? Lol have heard aboot this p/butter thing wasnae aware of the veg oil though, had heard using ground nut oil; prob just a posh version of the good ole veggie oil aye. Cheers for the info again mate Craig.

Iain, What do you use when treating the plastics / engine bay ? Trying to make the mind up between Meg's Hyper Dressing and Aerospace 303; both pricey items but just cannae decide ?? Cheers for your input mate Craig.
-
John, If the fitment is as good as mine then you'll have no worries HT Autos are a cracking company to deal with. The splitter is plastic so none of that 'shatter into a million bits as soon as ye hit a fag paper' malarky !! Go on get the wallet oot. Craig.

Menzerna Intensive Polish from Polished Bliss in Aberdeen; rubbed by hand with the whiteside of a 'German' polishing pad, residue then buffed off with a plush towel. http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/me...ish-polish.html http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/la...pad-polish.html http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/po...wel-polish.html You could always give Rich a call at Polished Bliss, he's always ready to give top advice. Machine polishing opens up an even bigger can of worms Hope this helps mate. Craig -
Welcome Mike, think we've chatting on snet re. the ever growing condition that is automotive ocd detailing . Great looking cars mate Craig.
-

Grant, You get my PM re. a price for stuff ?? Craig. -
Cheers Graham, certainly agree with you re. Geo but would suit me for financial reasons to go to a shop and get the whole shooting match done in a oner. If I were to use Geo it would have to be done in dribs and drabs and all the running back and forth would prob eat into any savings I made with Geo anyway. We'll see what Grant comes back with and take it fae there Craig.

Cheers Stu, nae bother mate. Did know that hypertech were doing the free WL fitment but just wanted to see how competative AWD were, like to keep the local lads in business lol. I'll keep ya posted Craig.
-

True John, I suppose the report content is as only as good as the reporter. I really wanted to start liking this car but the program did little if not no inspiring. Suppose a wee nip across to a dealers is needed to get the other half of the story Craig.
-
Of couse any thrash around a billiard table track is bound to magnify any handling issues a car may have but for as important it is to hear of these it's only fair to get the other story. The trundle down the shops version of how the car is to live with maybe ? There is a bit more to any car of this ilk than just pinging it sideways around an empty track - for as much fun that is Tbh i'm biased, i'm not really a fan of tiff, my opinion may be fuelled by the way I hate is smarminess and his feeble attempt to be comical ?? Craig.
-
Not entirely sure tbh, perhaps giving the review whilst on a B road perhaps, considering that 90% of them will be used here. Like I mentioned previously a little comparison test with the wrx (old or new) - just to see the difference ?? Sit a 6ft bloke in the back to gauge just how comfortable it is, a closer inspection of interior quality? The impreza is hardly renound for quality interior finish, this has meant to have been addressed and I for one would be interested to see if there is any truth in the statement. I'm no tv producer but I always feel that you never get a realistic view on cars from tiff. Craig.

Knew it, it's a b.loody conspiracy !!! Cheers Kit Craig.

Oh aye in my fit of rage forgot to say c'mon the cossie - old skool ya bas craig.
-
Heartily disappointed with that program - usual p.ish gear tripe !! Where's the 'how many beach balls you can fit in the boot' test, the ' lets rag it down a runway against a rival' test, I mean c'mon there was nothing in it to say ye or nae aye !! Quite simply they just did not do that car justice. This is the main prob with 5th gear you are always left still asking questions after a 'review', or I am anyway. Based on that footage like the above it certainly didn't give me an overpowering urge to plonk me erse in one. Roll on top gear for the love of god End of rant..... Craig

Speakin' o that wee bog brush, I wonder what the difference is between the micro fibre cloths that tesco sell and the ones that PB have ?? I mean they must be the same eh ?? I bought one o the wee blue anes from PB and I'm tellin' ye there is much difference between them - a fair bit cheaper wi the tesco two stipe aswell !! Craig
-
They do have alot of goodies but just no sure aboot their new fangled 'bog brush' for cleaning the backs of alloys Craig.
-
HUGE Congratulations mate, well done. Wishing you all the very best for the future Craig.
