  7. Geo, Can you save me a wee bit o searching time and give me a price for front and rear whiteline drop links for my car (uk '03 wrx). Are you able to take paypal payments ?? Thanks in advance, Craig.
  8. Congrats Grant, love those cars. Don't get me wrong love the 'in your face' STI aswell it's just nice to have an alternative - enjoy[]
  9. Anyone happen to know if these injectors will fit my car for definite - uk '03 wrx ?? : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...y0%3D%26fvi%3D1 Sorry for the daft link !!
  10. Does anyone happen to know the correct colour of the newer style 'dark grey' alloys that are on STI's. Have seen a couple of photies of these multispoke wheels and they look much darker than the typical anthracite grey that alot of after market wheels come in, could just be my eye sight [^o)]?? Craig.
  11. [][] He did mention someone in particular ahem[], that owned a very well kept car - part of the family almost!!
  12. Spot on Iain, thanks alot mate[]
  13. Kev, Nipped down this afternoon, had a blether with Simon - top bloke. The cars going in on Sat afternoon, can see misel becoming a regular down there. Simon certainly knows his stuff eh !![], thanks for the recommendation. Nice one Craig, glad you got your self booked in, Simon is a top bloke and very helpfull. At least you know your not going to get ripped [][] Cheers Jon, yeah I know it's feckin' hard trying to find honest mechanics - especially around Dundee.[^o)]. Saw your old car, very very nice, made mine look like a right lump lol. Simon was singing your P1's praises, good find mate!!
  14. Brilliant lol lol Got a mental picture here[Y]

  16. Talk about dragging something out[:$] But just to double check what are the basic tools i need for a good job, i've got the following : Micro fibre mit, chamois, one bucket (will get another), tutlewax shampoo/wax, meguairs step 2 polish. Still not sure what applicators / removers to use for the polish ? Sorry for being a dumpling folks[:$]
  17. Almost have the same problem but the neigbours cat s.hits all over our front garden. I tried this stuff from b&q. It's comes in a spray bottle and 'meant' to deter them. I let our house cats smell some of it - they ran a mile. I was sure it smelt like fairly liquid[^o)]. Failing that you can always douse the car in f/liquid ?? Aren't cats great !!??
  18. Thanks everyone, alot of good pointers there. Would have been replying but got to wait to get into work (laptop at home is dead !). Went and bought some of the turtlewax wash & wax stuff and meguairs (sp?) step 2 polish last night. Gave the car a wee clean with the shampoo last night. Seemed to come up quite good with minimal effort. Gonna do it properly at the w/end (with polish) - keep you all posted.
  19. Forgot to mention, any trade tips for the stone chips ??
  20. Sounds good to me !! Wonder if they sell those washing 'mits' that I've heard people talk about using. Have heard that sponges aren't really the best - what ever next eh[:^)]??
  21. Cheers Grant (again lol) The car's always out 'n' about so for as much of a picky b.ugger I am about it, it would make me greet to see it dirty again after an hour. What I'm after is basically a good quality shampoo and reasonably priced polish that doesn't need 3 1/2 days buffing time[] But respect to the dedication buddy !!
  22. Well done Dipsy will pass the advice on[]
  23. Cheers Grant, no mate it's black with 18" gold P/Drives. And one of those wee scooby doo's on the parcel shelf[:S]. So you rekon the guy bought a PPP'd wrx ECU instead of an STI ?? My mate was given the 'standard' ECU with the sale ??
  24. Dipsy, That's what I thought, I know the ECU can learn but that much ???
  25. Stephen, Pretty sure mate, the figure that the ex owner spouted was 270 bhp-ish. So it sounds like non-PPP to me ?? Don't know what year the STI ECU is, but you rekon it can be done ? According to my mate the car car runs fine[8-)]
