  1. Hi abody, did a search on this topic but wasnae much in the way of normal road use info. Got proxes at the moment 225/45/17 and was wondering what everyone lives with day to day tyre pressure wise ??. Remember something like 34F and 32R, just sounds helluva soft. Think mine is 36 F&R and the fronts still look a bit squidgy, got any opinions folks ?? Craig.
  2. Cheers mate, appreciate the info. Looks like i'll be giving them a bell at the start o the week. Craig.
  3. Craig, Remember when you bought your front splitter, you used HT Autos. Thinking of using them myself, what were the fixtures like - can you use the standard subaru clips (like the ones used to fit the 'winglets' to the bumper) ?? Cheers mate, Craig.
  4. Del lovely photo mate - doesna get much better than that eh [] I touch goats. Craig.
  5. Chris, Absolutely stunning mate...........August/September you say lol. You know by merely showing me these pics you've just confused me even more[]. Would be very interested to see whatever pics / spec list you've got. The car's just my cuppa tea[Y] Craig.
  6. Fee, saw that one mate, it's a cracker aye !! Pistonheads have alot on there at the moment. Craig.
  7. Meant to say you insert the text you've copied into the 'Image URL' box thats in the 'insert/edit image' icon (the wee tree icon beside the smiley face) Sorry for all the details - really p.issed me off when I couldnae do it. Hope it all makes sense [] Craig.
  8. Cheers buddy, as for the photies it's a doddle - even i managed it [] Go to here : http://photobucket.com/ Then click on the 'join' button - it's free by the way. Once you've joined, upload your photos onto photbucket. You will see wee versions at the bottom of the screen if done right. Below the picture there will be three boxes one of which is the 'URL Link', copy this text (in the longer box) and use this when you want to add the image to a post in SIDC, bob's your uncle !! Craig.
  9. Pretty good point there Fee, it's prob the snobbery in me getting out []. For me it's prob a status thing - i'm in the same boat though it's alot o wonga to dish out for a bit of nostalgia ?? (would be flippin' great tho !!) Craig.
  10. Cheers Chris, not saying no mate, it's just that it's a very fresh idea i've got at the mo, i'm pretty prone for making rash decisions according to the missus[] My plans are; do a bit of background checking, possibly even sit me a.rse in a classic and just see if they are actually for me. As I said, alot will be depending on getting in one at some stage and of course finding what kind of type r's you get for what type of money. All the best with the wee addition mate, m sure you'll be fine []. Outta interest got any pics of the motor ?? Craig.
  11. Learning all the time here - so you rekon the type r is a similar kind of car then. Sorry for the novice questions never driven a classic. Think it's the 'rawness' of classics that appeal to me at the mo if that makes sense ? I'm feeling with the blobs you feel a bit more detached from the driving experience. Really appreciating the info lads, thanks. Craig.
  12. That tells me loads [] Know what you're saying tho, there's always gonna be wanna be dreamers and there's always gonna be the unsure information hunters - i'm the latter. The main reason for the interest is you drive around and frankly get bored of seeing the same old impreza models. We all want better things eh suppose it's just a question of how bad you want it ?
  13. Cheers lads, so i was a wee bit off wi the 15k then[:$] What are these things like to live with, i know they've got stiffner suspension and closer ratio g/boxes but in real life how are they ? I mostly nip about town, furthest i've been on a dualer with my car is edinburgh. Would be handy if someone on here could comment ? Thanks again.
  14. Been killing a wee bit o time in work looking at all the different models of impreza. As with most of the subaru community, fell in love with the 22B - what a machine !! Remember a while back that these still go for 15k approx, is this still the case (the wee wheelies are turnin' []) ?? Craig.
  15. Plus saves on wheel cleaning products []
  16. My answer to Dundee's Power Ranger shortage :
  17. Cheers Iain[]. Craig
  18. Always meant to get some photos of the car on here : Taken on a phone and in crap lighting, but you'll get the idea. Going for the black front splitter and foggy covers eventually. Craig.
  19. Welcome mate, enjoy your new motor[] Another one flying the flag for good ol' Dundee!! Craig.
  20. Neil, Not sure to be honest mate, but if memory serves I think RS Grant might have one going spare. You could drop him a pm an find out for definate ? Craig.
  21. "Hi Craig, For the STi 03-05 lip spoiler, RRP £178.60 we can do as follows: 5 or more, 10% discount 10 or more, 15% " 15 or more, 20% " SIDC members are already entitled to 10% anyway. Many thanks, Scott." Discounts just in. Craig.
  22. Hi all, Here we go again[] Who would be up for this, contacted Scott and he's interested in carrying out a GB if numbers are good enough ? Don't know any discount percentages as of yet but makes sense to get a rough number to go back to Scott with. Craig.
  23. Hi Arch, Sent you a PM re. the i/c mate. Craig.
  24. Cal, Going down the td04h turbo route eventually myself, have had a few emails from Andy saying that 320ish is achievable with sti i/c and injectors with the tdo4 ? I take it the vf35 has more scope for future modding ? Are you still running std injectors / intercooler ? Trying to decide whether i'm making the right choice for my usage of the car. Cheers, Craig
  25. Grant sent you a PM re. your new splitter. Craig.
