  4. Yeah i've tried it and really liked it but Swissvax and Zymol is like Subaru and Mitsubishi, you are either a loyal fan of one or the other and i chose Zymol
  5. I will prob buy the vintage glaze next year at £1800 a pot. Not too bad as you get free refils for life. So far i think i've done 8 cars with the concours and not even halfway thru the tub.
  6. 2 coats of this will last upto 6 months without needing to top up, gives an immense depth of shine, easy to use and smells great. Ok the last bit is never going to be a selling point but it seriously does smell amazing. I bought it online. For a single pot it's around £160 but i got a full kit for £250 that consists of everything you need. Link here - http://www.vertar.com/zymol/zymol-kits/zymol-complete-kits/
  7. I spent another 5 hours on it yesterday and was able to get the bonnet and from wings waxed. Used Zymol Concours, will get pics up later on today.
  8. craig79 - i just use Autoglym bumper care for the plastics etc. If you get polish on any black trim and it start looking white just use peanut butter of vegetable oil to clean it.
  9. Looking good mate, nice effort
  10. it's a pro buffer thing Jc
  11. Yeah the afterburner will bolt straight on. I had it to begin with on my standard STi and it sounded awesome, even better once i went full de-cat. Little vid clip here -
  12. is that a serious question?
  13. Apply 2 coats of poorboys wheel sealant or any wax to the mudflaps and that will make cleaning easier
  14. I also turn the car around into the shade, also just do a small area at a time ( about 12 inches squared) Cant wait to see the finished article either Not as friendly a bunch over there Andy. Cheers
  15. Cheers mate. the weather is def helping, although i had to stop short today as i was getting sun burn. A few more pics
  16. As said in a previous post i have spent 30 hours preparing my new car for looking its best this summer, well i took it to 35 hours today. When i 1st got the car i spent 6 hours taking the wheels off and cleaning them, then 2 hours doing the arches. Spent 8 hours cleaning in and around door shuts under bonnet etc, 6 hours hoovering, shampooing and general cleaning of the inside. 8 hours was spent a few weeks ago machine polishing the bonnet and front wings and spent another 5 today on the boot and doors. Still leaves me with the roof and bumpers to machine polish. All machine polishing so far has been with menzerna intensive polish to get most of the swirls/scratches out so prob anothe 5 or 6 hours will be spent using menzerna final finish. Then i still need to seal and wax the whole car. Got some pics today of the swirl removal, heres how it's looking so far
  17. The more time you spend on it in a day means less work in the weeks and months to come. Spent 30 hours on the BM so far and still got plenty to do

  23. Unlucky mate, could have been worse tho. I would guess the paint will crack when someone tries to sort out your bonnet
  24. Here is a video to give you the answer. I think the song is quite appropriate
