apply about a 5p piece size blob of scratch x on the pad and rub in using up and down and side to side motions (don't go in circular motions like the karate kid) until it becomes clear then buff off with a cloth. depending on the severity of the scratch it may take up to 5 attempts.

Not very "big" saying things like that on a computer if the other half does not know about it imo. I'm not under the thumb, i just know what would annoy alison and don't do or say certain things that would upset her. I get 2 weekends off out of 8 and if my mates text me asking me to go out i say no as i know alison would like to spend time with me. She has her horses and i have my car cleaning for hobbies and are very understanding of this

You do take off a small amount of clearcoat with machine polishing but you do with polishing by hand also. Very safe to use on any car, you cant go wrong with the porter cable machine polisher. Polish a car twice a year is what is recommended but you can wax as much as you like.

I sure did and the vrs got smoked. It was always in the rear view mirror, still a quick car and can't grumble at 65mpg

Got home from detailing a pink subaru today and alison asked me to wash her car then try and get a few scratches out that a dog had inflicted to her drivers door. No problem darling will take a look at it. [] oh my god what a scratch it was. Washed the whole car then brought out the machine polisher again, got the scratches out and took a picture for her to see. Have owned an rs turbo and unless you get a good one it will cost you alot to keep it on the road. i had an 88 f series 2 and bought it with 75k on the clock with just a chip and full exhaust. Owned mine for 2 years and done 6k miles in the 2 years but still managed to spend near £7k. great cars when they are running fine and would have another one in a minute if i knew it was not going to cost me much to keep. Very hard to find good examples nowadays most have been highly modded or re-built wich leads to un-reliability.

Once you have copied the file from photobucket come back into sidc select reply and in the subject box where you are typing your reply right click your mouse then select paste

Remember you should only polish your car max 4 times a year as you take a small amount of clear coat off everytime you do. Wax as much as you want but be carefull with polish. Sorry for posting in here will get back upto scotland []
