  1. mine should be here tomorrow. ordered from dixons last thursday.

have to say so far mario galaxies, guitar hero III and mario kart wii (12 player online races for the win) are amazing.

can't wait to add wii fit to the mix.

  2. Congratulations to Ranger on a great win. That was one of the best games I've seen all season (although thats not to hard this year considering the standard at Rugby Park) and I hope they do win the cup as that would be a fantastic achievement.

I'd like to clarify something here thought and I'm looking for other peoples take on this from all different supporters. I hate Rangers and Celtic with a passion. I'm a Killie fan and hating the old firm is something almost every non old firm fan will share with me, all for our own reasons with varying levels of hate. In short i don't like you...

However... I just thought i would share the thought process involved from my point of view though when it comes to supporting the old firm and other Scottish clubs in European competition.

Any other Scottish team outside the old firm in Europe i.e Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen, Killie and even the Livi Lions etc.. I want them to win. No questions asked. I will shout for every decision thats dubious and scream at the tv till I'm blue in the face. I'm even annoyed / angry when they get knocked out because I actually want them to do well. They represent the smaller teams in the league and i want them to put up a damn good fight against European competition. It all does well for the coefficient when European places get calculated and hey that occasionally benefits Killie if we play well enough.

Now when it comes down to Rangers and Celtic its a very different game. I hate you both so I love to see you get humiliated. The joy of seeing old firms fan heart broken at getting knocked out early on when you think you deserve to be amongst the greatest is always a joy to see. If a dubious decision causes it then all the better. Thats pretty much they way I see it during the qualifying and the first knock out stages. If you do win though i take more of a meh attitude towards it rather than well done congratulations.

Now lets say you make the league stages of the cups. Now i'm kind of not bothered about it either way. Do i enjoy seeing you get beat now... no not really but i'm not desperate for you to qualify for the next stage either. You've done some good for the coefficient however I still don't like you.

But then a funny thing then happens somewhere between the last 16 and the quarter finals. I do start to care. Last night I cared a lot about that Rangers game. I was shouting at the TV, arguing for every call and celebrating every goal. At this stage of the cup things are just to serious. It was great to see Rangers win and I really do want them to win the competition... even if it does mean they win four trophies in a season. (Urgh... There is still hope in the Scottish cup at least)

The same rules apply to Celtic as well. For example this year when Celtic got knocked out I couldn't have cared less. You did well to get that far and you get to enter European competitions more than the rest of us so enjoy it. It also meant I got to have a few jokes at my green and white cousins who don't react well to people taking the piss out of there team as they just arn't used to it. (As a non old firm supporter thats an immunity we build up since primary school as almost all the other kids support Rangers and Celtic). Don't get me wrong though. When Celtic were in the final not so long ago I was desperate for them to win it. A team from our small footballing nation almost managed to take on the rest of Europe and win. I was heartbroken that they didn't make it.

But what does this mean? Well domestically normal service will resume on Saturday and I will be chearing on whatever team Rangers or Celtic are playing against (unless a old firm victory is of more benefit to Kilmarnock of course) and take great pleasure in seeing anyone dare take 3 points off one of you. Even better when you get knocked out the cups.

However for the rest of the UEFA cup... Come on Rangers!

  3. so far your on a better roll here than me mate. although i did wonder if the programs would still work as well. agree its strange that only the folder icon is still working but couldnt have told you that was separate from the icon cache file.

guys your on new territory for me here so im open to learning a bit about this as well as its the first time i've come across it.

  4. Hi,

    Cheers

    Martin

Right then. When you get this send me a PM with your address and we'll arrange to meet. I'm in southcraigs myself.

I'll take the SECS unit out my car and plug it into yours and see if that can tell us whats wrong.

Will send you a text just now as well.

  5. might want to post where about you stay mate that way people will know if there close enough to offer assistance.

It sounds like your car has gone into limp home mode. The car will appear to idol fine whoever if you try and give it beans and hit boost you will feel like someone has just put a brick wall in front of you. this is supposed to happen to protect the car. no higher than 2500 rpm till you get the code worked out.

and the maf in the 99/00 cars is an extremly common fault due to its design. i'm on my 3rd in 18 months (fitted the new one earlier tonight)

you could try resetting the ecu and then take it a drive. if the cel comes back on then get it to a dealer or see if anyone near you can help you read the fault code.
