  1. my00 as you have its pretty straight forward. done it to mine.

remove the front scoop in the engine bay. the whole that will be left by it can be covered over with a blanking plate from an impreza sport. this you can get at the dealers for about £8 i think. will lookout the part number later as i should have it somewhere. i just remember it being called a plug and the guys at s&s not having a clue what i was on about till i showed them where it went.

jack up front right and remove wheel (trust me for the effort of taking the wheel off its so much simpler.

carefully remove the plugs holding in the wheel arch lining. yes you will probably brake them but there only a couple pounds at the dealers. (ive got some lying around from a previous fix)

ok now undo the couple of bolts holding in what could possibly be the ugliest piece of plastic on your car. (some in engine bay and some from underneath)

now every how to on this says it should just drop out with a lot of wiggeling but I couldnt get it. i ended up loosening the front bumper on that side to give myself extra room to move it about as the bumper support was in my way.

once its out toss it to the side.

while your at it if you look at the airbox you'll see that its opening its actually a larger circle with a smaller one stuck round it. i took the airbox completly out the car and removed the extra bit of plastic to open up the entrance to the airbox. larger hole = more air flow. its only held on by 3 clips and was only helping the resonator stay put but without it who needs it.

now this is where its up to you. if you do get the plug and cover the gap then it will mostly be taking cold air in from the wing however there will be a small gap between the airbox and the wing. i stuck some rubber draft excluder (any diy store) around the opening so that there is a perfect seal between the airbox and the wing. only place its getting air from now is the wing.

All in it took me about an hour and apart from some swearing trying to get the damn thing out (and if i ever sell the car it aint going back in)

If i recall correctly http://www.scoobymods.com/ has got some very good write ups on how to do all this and if you register there was even pics of the different stages. thats where i got how to do it from.

    best of luck.

  2. i wouldn't actually be surprised if prodrive started to offer different levels of tuning in the performance pack. one at say 350/360 and another at 400.

There is defiantly enough demand for that kind of power and to be manufacturer backed would please a lot of people and insurance companies.

  3. welcome to the club mate.

as said already defiantly a detango on those lights with the look of the rest of the car.

also as nobody else has said to you i will.

CUT UP YOUR CREDIT CARD NOW!!!

    you have been warned.

    ;)

  4. He was on his own on the field when he just collapsed. When i got out the stadium after the Killie game the radio said he had collapsed during the match but had regained consciousness so we all thought thank goodness he's ok however we heard a couple hours later during the drive home that he was declared dead at about 5:20. So far all we know is it was a seizure.

Really puts the 3-1 kicking Killie took today in Inverness into perspective.

Thoughts go out to his family.

    RIP Phil

  5. I got my nintendo wii!!!!! woho. ok so i had to find it myself but my mum paid so all is well.

wii sports rules. mario is king and link is a god.. however guitar hero III.... is just awsume!!!!!!!! (my arms are stil sore from christmas day)

also got the claskson dvd, the colin mcrae dvd and loads of choc's.

will ned to treat myself to a subaru jacket with christmas money i recon.

  6. i got the impression of a man who got to full of himself when the going was good and had no idea what to do when his world collapsed around him even though it was his fault.

the old frail man he was in the interviews though to me was just a man who wanted to be remembered. over the last few years the whole finding god bit etc... to me appeared to be one of the final acts of a man scared of his own mortality which was now a problem where as when he was doing stunts it was just par for the course.

still think he did some amazing things though.

  7. i loved the best sound of the year being hamster screaming about oliver's inability to float...

of course the supercars in the tunnels was the actual winner for me.

felt sorry for mrs stigg having to swim with the helmet on... not fun i would think.

good show all round. now just have to put up with repeats on dave untill the next series.

  8. And the £1.91 of that didn't go into the Santa Cruise fund why?...

I would think with the cruise the first priority is the kinds and raising them the money is the hard part.

Would it be nice if we could improve the image of the club / car at the same time with a little good PR yeah it would be so thats why we try and get some coverage.

Plus it might just help get more people involved in any charity to raise money for those who need it.

  9. Well my Wii did arrive (WOHO!!!) however the mag is now waiting for me at the depot after a failed second delivery.... well my brother was in the house all day and took delivery of the wii fine.... you think the postie could ring the bell to say there was a magazine that needed a signature but no... looks like they just put the card through.

    Pain in the behind.
