I changed to Infinity speakers all round. Got adaptors from a company in the States so fitted perfect with no drilling etc.

Had both and feel no difference in wet/dry grip but the T1Rs will last longer.

Not trying to put you off but I've read so many threads on ScoobyNet about the cheaper splitters cracking, snapping etc. I've got the genuine STI splitter and have had no probs in over 2 years! Just a thought mate.

Fair enough John, and I would defo agree it is totally self indulgence. As I've said before I've owned Scoobs now for over 7 years so they`re not really a big deal to me now - sort of been there done that. I need my car for work, school run etc. I like a nice sporty car, but do I need 300bhp? Doubt it. I first bought an Impreza when they were THE car to have and there was a 9 month waiting list! But back then I had no responsibilities, now times have changed priorities change and I do believe certain things have to be justified.

I'm sorry but if I had a M3 i wouldn't have it on track with the Corsa etc. brigade. Looks fun too watch though, cracking pics.

I know there is a common problem with rear struts knocking on the STI 03 onwards mate.

There comes a time when you have to justify running an Impreza I think. I have owned turbo'd Subarus since 2000, and although I'm fortunate to do low miles, so running costs are low(ish) I feel this will defo be my last. I've always wanted something German like an S3 (or if I could persuade the Mrs./win the lotto, a RS4 or M3) where you still have performance, luxury, slightly lower running costs and better depreciation.

Take the rap mate, speeding in a 30 is a big no no.
