  1. Hmm, Have to admit with a set of 18" rotas force a bigger exhaust it could look pretty good. I see white is still THE colour.

  4. I don't think your really suppose to clean them. There supposed to be self cleaning. You coul try electrical solvent. I'd wait for other advice first.

  6. Yes a faulty maf would allow it to run fine up until the boost comes in.
  7. 23 - maf sensor 22 - knock sensor I think. Anyone else?
  8. Gav, see when you get one in, could you do me a favour and let me lie down in the middle of the road and run me over with it!!!
  9. DOH !!!! Those who know me will know why I'm saying this oh dear oh dear oh dear
  10. Could you lot go out side and wiggle your airbox. Mine seemed a bit 'loose' and made noises going over bumps. I just took it out and put it back in and the sound was gone. This probably is not the noise you guys are hearing (i dont think have the rattle you guys describe). But this was one I had.
  11. I remember Reading your original 'disaster post' and could only feel gutted for a fellow scoob owner. I'm glad you've made bad scenario into a good one. Crossing my fingers for you! Keep us posted. Oh and save up some pennies for some brakes and suspension!!!
  12. A shout for Jon B for his time today chasing electrical gremlins!! (Remember don't get them wet or feed them after midnight) Was good to meet a thoroughly good chap willing to help out.
  13. Is anyone on here an auto electrician around the glasgow/hamilton area that can spare me 25mins or so ?
  14. Mine will be two years old on 1st March. How time flies
  15. Radio removal & alarm prob - PM'd thoses who requested. 10min job.
  16. As above 12x3 covers those 'extra' screw holes. I had the same problem.
  17. If it's a hatch 12x3 fits perfectly covering holes. Just fits perfectly with the shape in the bumper.
  18. These average speed things make me paranoid and I constantly check my speed distacting me from 'driving'
  19. Just set off my alarm and got a text. But from a uk number. Text that one back and it works. It used to be +39 339 9943201 it appears to have changed. Nice of them to tell me.
  20. Has any other hatch owners been having problems with the metasat tracker system. It seems a bit dodgy. Tried to text the car today and got no respone at all. I know I have the correct phone number etc. I have logged on to the website. It says I have 100 credits which cannot be true coz I know I must have used some since I topped it up last year. The website has sections in it which have been 'under construction' for as long as I can remember. I'm sure your supposed to get a message back if you get no response or send an incorrect command. Your also supposed to get an email when your credit is low or your 12 months is coming to an end. (checked my spam follder btw) All my details on the website are correct. I'm starting to wonder if I'm just paying my £100 per year top up for a service which in my experience is poor. Any thoughts?
  21. I had the alarm problem. A quick email to Sigma Sam told me what to do. It was a 10 minute job. Originally the disc is stuck down on top, you need to put a bit of distance between the two Rear parcel shelf - I put a wee bit of rubber in. My cars now 22 months old with 26k and no other rattles.
  22. Hello, I've not got this problem. But open the glove box, pop off the plastic connecton bit on the left ( pops off to the left). Put one hand on each side off the globe box and squeeze towards the middle. And hey presto, glove box comes out. Have a look in behind. Oh that's your cabin pollen filter in behind. Barry
  23. Sorry tyres are my sticking point. Just compare the price of tyres compared to not stopping in time and smashing your car and possibly yourself up. At the very least you should have two tyres on the same axle with the same tread. Sorry about this, but I would only use the same brand and type all around with the same wear on the same axle. Barry.
