  1. Hi, Looking to get the part numbers for the 2004 on WRX front and rear ARB 'stock' brackets. Thanks in advance. Phil.
  2. Respect to good old Corgi
  3. Ah, I see. Yep, real pain when you order up rims and most sites advise 18" rims clear Brembo's only to find the ET is just a likkle to close for comfort. Thanks for the info. I've got a pair of 5mm spacers you can have - just pm me a postal address if you want them?
  4. Sorry for being a nose ache, but why did you need spacers, and what thickness did you use, 5mm?
  5. 'SmilerAS' just fitted some HEL's that I recommended (purchased from Scooby World), and said that fitting was a doddle. Fittings, length, etc all spot on. Cheaper than Goodridge and don't cost extra for the coloured outer sheath.
  6. Subaru are the one's to blame for this notion that the whole SRS system is kaputt if you interfere with any of it. Steering wheel is a pain owing to the slip ring which the air bag has a patch lead 'running' through, otherwise seats should be overcome by a resistor. If the air-bag light does illuminate - again Subaru state the SRS will not function correctly - but then add air-bags could still deploy ???!! I think the resistor may also work with later seats that have the weight activated gizzmo attached to them - as it's only a triggering device.
  7. Try this from Scooby World: http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/produ...products_id=147 or buy a Tactrix 'cable'/ interface: http://www.tactrix.com/product_info.php?products_id=40 which requires a few downloads before it can be used. Offers a few options and tuning possibilities.
  8. Let us know what you opt for?
  9. RGM (Richard Grant) sell a 'fluted' grille/ light infill. Plenty of RGM sellers on ebay. I think you'll be looking at around £80-90 (new). or like said - all in one grilles can purchased from say DRMotorsport (painted too), try drmotorsport@lineone.net
  10. You can telephone Olly at CRN direct on 01246 559933. He'll arrange all manner of trick deals with various pads, or zinc and passivate finish/ heat treat, etc the discs.
  11. Kev, This may go against many peeps opinions, but after sampling a host of repairs/ paint/ polish/ and general TLC - I would wholly recommend Tony Antonopoulos just off the A98 at Ladybrae Farm, Whitehills: tel: 07894 337153 ( tony1ant@yahoo.co.uk ) The man works minor miracles with plastic bumpers, rusty / broken brackets, and all for sweeties. Typically bumpers etc are £100 to prep and paint in 2-pac. He does a fine job, and was awarded Jaguar Body & Paint Master in 2000. Well worth a shot.
  12. I should feel the same way, I know I had to slap myself after seeing Wulsey's white WRX which (to me) was a very good buy for someone. Timing is everything, and once you buy something, guaranteed there will be something better, less expensive, or whatever, hiding around the corner - or so it seems. You try sitting with a wad of cash waiting for the right vehicle to come along - doesn't work like that and as the vendor in the ad says, took him 6 months to find the one he is now selling
  13. In all honesty I'm not target hunting as it's more a case of improvement over stock on a daily driver. Some of the examples given so far are to be expected (thanks chaps for your input ). Being in the region of £550+, is still cheaper than a proper turbo upgrade - and I can at least get the gases flowing a little better all round. I see Milsport's manifold appears tempting at £400. Any other ideas anyone?
  14. Who do you recommend for an upgrade stainless manifold, equal, unequal with up pipe? In other words, has 3 bolt turbo connection, does not require 'trimming' the cross member, takes the standard Lambda probe, blah de blah? Lots around, all varying in price Thanks in advance.
  15. Brilliant, thanks guys I'll be giving this a shot on Sunday. Paul I'll try and catch you on MSN if I get stuck. Who knows - maybe I can look into tweaking some stock values in the near future?
  16. This is just what I need. I have the drivers for ECU-flash, but I'll need to get ROM-Raider and ECU Explorer. I live near Keith, and work in Elgin.
  17. Hi guys, Looking for any tips from the wealth of knowledge out there as I've purchased the Tactrix Openport 2.0 cable. Initially I'm looking at extinguishing the EML (yes de-catted exhaust ), on my MY02 WRX. Thanks in advance everyone.
  18. Wow, Thanks fellas. That's just the stuff I was after.
  19. Tonnes out there but the sellers are not Impreza-savvy, so they cannot confirm they'll read my standard 2002 ECU, even though OBDII So can anyone take the mystery out of things and perhaps point me in the SAFE direction of a code reader/ fault code eraser that's not £100+ Thanks in advance.
  20. Thanks my man - might give that a try
  21. Ding dong. Just had a peek - darned if I can see the advert Doh! Thanks for the replies everyone.
  22. Thanks, I'll ping you a note then.
  23. Good news - I was waiting for some feedback on Bitz. Passed their place many times and knew of their 'kit car' connections. Could be worth popping along there
  24. Wooh, thats nice! Yeah I've noticed Buddy Club P1's are being discontinued and the old stocks can be had for a good price. Even so that price delivered with Prada's is very good.
