  1. yes indeed after all the time and £ spent its good to see you get a nice return.makes it all worthwhile. i wonder what charlie at the chocolate factory will come up with to match it?

  3. if you have tools etc and some help then probably a days work
  4. personally i thought it was easier doing it the gaerbox out way,but most seasoned modders seem to prefer taking the engine out.bit of a pita taking the gearbox out with no ramp though yes john if it was clutch only then gearbox out would do fine
  5. last time we done a clutch on my car we took out the gearbox,this time we decided to do it with the engine out and do a few other things while it was out ie change manifold, fit spacers,prallel fuel rails,injectors,sump baffle plate etc
  6. could have been me i suppose,i posted up a pic of a spare closed deck block i have on another thread but its only for a rainy day at the moment.

  8. well after just over a week of having the car the fun begins.started off the day doing a bit of moving other cars about the unit to make room for it and unfortunately gary's polo has to be shifted elsewhere in the meantime. not sure how far he'll get in it though lol before start stripping out intercooler.radiator etc probably just as well the rads out the way! up she goes and away new clutch fitted well that was todays progress,thanks to gary d for the help and terzo neil for turning up at 3.30 to try and steal some glory!........................only kidding big man much appreciated back down tomorrow for more

  16. yea mate same only lighter.the rays on the s202 were made specifically for subaru and weigh 1.4kg more each,every little helps lol

  18. our cicumstances are slightly different ie.you've already got a track car im just trying for an all round track/1/4 mile mile/road car but dont really want to wreck it.i think it might surprise the hollywood boys

  20. starting the work on it next weekend and will probably take about 4 weeks so it will be after that,once its mapped i'll bring it back through and you can have a blast in it.should be fun,its pretty nippy as standard

  22. i would liked to have put the spec c up the 1/4 mile in standard form but circumstances are against me.good luck guys
  23. 13.04 but im sure that will be beaten by a mile 11's no problem
