yes indeed after all the time and £ spent its good to see you get
a nice return.makes it all worthwhile.
i wonder what charlie at the chocolate factory will come up
with to match it?
personally i thought it was easier doing it the gaerbox out way,but most seasoned
modders seem to prefer taking the engine out.bit of a pita taking the gearbox out with
no ramp though
yes john if it was clutch only then gearbox out would do fine
last time we done a clutch on my car we took out the gearbox, this time we decided
to do it with the engine out and do a few other things while it was out ie change manifold,
fit spacers, prallel fuel rails, injectors, sump baffle plate etc
well after just over a week of having the car the fun begins.started off
the day doing a bit of moving other cars about the unit to make room for it
and unfortunately gary's polo has to be shifted elsewhere in the meantime.
not sure how far he'll get in it though lol
before
start stripping out intercooler.radiator etc
probably just as well the rads out the way!
up she goes
and away
new clutch fitted
well that was todays progress, thanks to gary d for the help and terzo neil for turning up
at 3.30 to try and steal some glory!........................only kidding big man much appreciated
back down tomorrow for more
our cicumstances are slightly different ie.you've already got a track car
im just trying for an all round track/1/4 mile mile/road car but dont really want
to wreck it.i think it might surprise the hollywood boys
starting the work on it next weekend and will probably take about 4 weeks
so it will be after that, once its mapped i'll bring it back through and you can
have a blast in it.should be fun,its pretty nippy as standard
