  1. cheers stephen,just wondered what width classics run on 17's.8.5 inch equates to 215.89 mm so would need to be 225 minimum
  2. as above really i have a set of rays 17x8.5 with an offset of 44,will these be ok on a classic and what width of tyre will be ok?

  4. yea robert i reckon the sound system alone should save a few kg's yip 650 in a newage is probably better but my 500 will owe me 7.5k,650 in a newage mmmm ££££££ cheers craig fair point on the weight issue mate but how much lighter is a v5/6 type r compared to a uk car?i reckon 20/30kgs max and considering im built for speed myself i reckon half of that is lost lol.can see where your coming from my first choice was a type r but looks is not the be all and end all for me and the same kind of £ would have got me a ligtly modded v3 or standard v4 which would need big bucks spent for similar power. no chance of driving it but i'll let you change the gears
  5. sorry mate but i think your talking out your ar$e,been looking for 8 weeks and theres nothing with this kind of spec for the money. as for what i had that took 3 months to source and 5 months to ship over and sva etc.jap exchange to pound have changed a lot since then and even to buy the same car would cost around 13k just to land so not an option

  11. yea seen that too lol going down to cheltenham next weekend to pick up the new car pending inspection of course but just can't overlook the cars spec- Car spec as follows: engine. Api built 2.0 l bottom end version 9 spec c block and crank and rod with arp bolts, api forged pistons arp head bolts sti heads flowed and ported. Unequal length tubular manifolds wrapped up to td0520g turbo. oil cooler and blitz front mount intercooler. uprated fuel pump and fpr to parallel fuel rail mod. (api) 3" api exhaust (decat) sounds great. k&n Induction simtec engine management supplied fitted and mapped by api. Api pulleys Gearbox. 6 speed conversion carried out by api 12 months ago.since then the car has rolled 3 1/2 k miles no issues at all uprated clutch and fidanza fly wheel. Body work. full custom paint job in mint condition using house of colour paint (galaxy grey) simply stunning. genuine p1 front lip and rb5 prodrive rear spoiler. hid driving lamps spots from p1 wr sport sti rear lights Genuine rare sun roof model from factory. Brakes and suspension Power station supplied ast coil overs white line anti roll bars front and back anti lift kit and re bushed all round forge front cross brace bump steer mod and power station geometry. Prodrive alcon front brakes oz super leggera 17 alloys in good condition (Couple of marks) Interior. P1 front seats Prodrive mats including the boot defi gauges boost, oil temp and egt Re trimmed door cards in blue alcanterra to match seats Full alpine touch screen dvd with nav 12 disc shuttle in boot jl audio speakers in front jl sub and amps dynomatted front doors parrot phone prep The car has covered 54000 miles and is in very good condition it has 11 months mot and 2 months tax the engine has covered 8k since build this car is not your usual 10 year old tired example as an enthusiast i have cared for this car like an addiction

  17. theres a thought got what it was insured for mate but still lost a fortune so another lesson learned...................dont mod your car unless you can bend over and take it like a sailor veering towards a well modded car thats already had the £ spent
  18. got the cheque from insurance yesterday,i reckon i can have the lot spent in a week lol
