There is a 1 mile stretch of road in Wishaw, which recently became a 20mph limit, set by the local authority. My mate was travelling down this road at 4.15am in the morning on his way to work, he was doing 27mph, not another car or pedestrian in sight (apart from the police). He received 3 penalty points and £60 fine on the spot. The police where there for one reason and one reason only, it sure had nothing to do with safety at that time in the morning !!! .. safety never has pi*sed me off, but instances like that make me sick.

Why is it pointless using a scoob for commuting ?? i would have thought that the vast majority of scooby's spend most of there life doing this .. I was driving a tractor about 16 months ago, i hated it, but of course very economical if u are doing a lot of miles. Good luck in the purchase of ur new motor []

I would deffo persue it mate, u might not get all ur money back, but u should at least get the difference between the value of a wrx and sti ...
