  1. Craig what did they do to ur mates wrx ? ...(i am looking for some more from my ppp wrx) ..I sent Andy F an email asking for some advice, he suggested to start with that i fit a down and up-pipe with a re-map and STi intercooler. When i have more bucks, he then suggested a turbo change ..
  2. Nice pics mate, sounds like u had a good time, i like to get away on my own from time to time, like u say, when the roads are empty it is great [y]
  3. Have used Firefox to enter the forum every since i joined, with no problems, that was up until yesterday .. Yesterday i experienced many visual/loading issues with this forum only, the problem did not exist elsewhere, which would suggest something has changed your end ? Late last night, these problems did go away, and i was once again able to log in with no problems, or so i thought ...when i went to respond to a thread i was not able to input any text ? ..this problem still remains. (with Firefox ) Currently having to use explorer for this forum only, although there is a minor problem with explorer, right click and copy is not possible to do in the message box ?? although it still works under Subject box ... Any clues Craig
  4. Hi Gerry, That would certainly explain the AFR figures. Many thanks for a great day mate [] and i thought that the layout and infomation provided on the Graphs was very good [y] PS Spooks really is the only person that would be able to provide you with the order list ...hopefully he will see this thread.
  5. That is some car u have there mate, not only very powerfull, but she looks great to, i was very jealous [y]
  6. I am sure drb5 is correct in what he is saying under normal conditions, although on this occasion he was not aware of the full facts. Personally i don't believe you have a problem ..although i am far from any expert, i am just looking at the facts on the day We have three cars, all the same model, all have the exact same setup, with only green filter fitted and ppp. All three cars produced roughly the same bhp (within 2bhp of each other) as you would expect. All three cars also produced the same AFR readings, which i agree the chart does show the cars to be running very lean. BUT imo, its just to much of a coincidence for there to be a problem with all three cars. Actually the readings do show there to be a major issue .. My conclusion, the prodrive setup on these cars (including mine) did not like the setup used on the day and produced inaccurate AFR readings, maybe even software related ?? I cant see that prodrive have got it so wrong ...jeez Subaru warranty all there work. I am under the believe that any ppp car that went on them rollers that day would have produced very similar AFR readings ... I am far from any expert, so i doubt my answerer will help u feel any better, at the very least it will bring this thread back to the top and tempt some more knowledgeable members to have an input.
  7. Great Vid ..first class [y]
  8. Yes, really njoyed it, although i was knackered, straight from a 13hr shift ...already thanked the Girls and Spooks in another thread [Y]
  9. Yep, was a good day, although i was rather knackered, come straight of a 13hr shift. Many thanks to the Girls that where providing the coffee and cakes, would have been lost without you [Y] also need to thank Spooks for keeping things moving along and organising us all, in his usual never stop smiling self [] Three cars stood out for me, in no particular order, Craigs, Wilky's, and i beleive it was Playsatan2 ? (black one around 415bhp) ....Peter's to, although i think he has some issues ....well done chaps ! [Y] i am sure u all driven home with a smile on ur face [] As for me, i'm not happy, i have already sent an email to Andy F lol ....ppp is not enough [8o|] ! b*ll*cks to the warrenty ... Craig

  18. Looking to purchase a front splitter for the car, several options appear to be avaliable, 1) Scott Lowe wrx splitter ...looks okay, just not sure if it is enough on its own ... 2) Scott Lowe STi splitter ...would need to purchase STi winglets, much prefer this look, but been quoted £300 for the winglets alone OUCH. 3) Doing a search on Ebay comes up with a rather nice looking splitter at a very good price (see link) ..has anybody on here ordered and fitted this one ?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUBARU-IMPREZA-FRONT...1QQcmdZViewItem Any help or advice would be appreciated ..
