  1. Well is it not advertised on Pistofheads, or here, only Scabby-net...? I might have thought that if he was serious enough to sell, then he might have spread the love a bit... And yeah seems pretty odd that he's not mentioned the water pump on the thread, I assume that He's just pm'd various people... does seem odd... to my mind, if he does not mention it in the thread, it means that no body can ask awkward questions about the New engine too... I don't know, makes me a little curious as to why... so many questions... so many uncertainties...
  2. AS a few guys have said, getting a re-circ valve is probably best... theres a thread from a wee while ago that had a lot of very good information on dump valves and what they can do to your engine... If you do a search, you should be able to find it...
  3. You may get that in a service manual... although, just how complete that might be... I wouldn't like to say, you can download the service manuals online, although, Off the top of my head, I couldn't say where you can download them, Ive had to download in the past, and I did have one on my computer, though I think that Ive lost it?
  4. Good Effort... Oh dear... I'm sure that you may be able to get replacement parts... No reason why you cant remove the broken bit with teh Grinder though!!!!!
  5. Mmmm.... Splitter looks decent enough mate, although jury is out on the eyebrows... I dont know... perhaps if there was some better pics... from a few angles... but at the moment, I sway on the naw side....
  6. Now, I have to say Keira... I wasn't keen when I saw the pics of the wheels before you fitted them... however... I dont think that they look that bad fitted... pretty sharp... they suit the car better than i though that they would...
  7. Aye! Pic us up mate!
  8. I'd be wary of fixing it with just adhesive... adhesive and bolts perhaps... but adhesive on its own... because spoilers are under a reasonable amount of stress from the airflow... that said, I dont know if this is something thats been done before... but I would imagine that if it fell off and hit another car, then the police would be up for anally raping you... (Unsecured load?) ive also seen the police get REALLY funny about stuck on number plates too... so... yeah...
  9. ooh... now this is something that I was looking at a wee while ago, but i wasn't going to go down this particular route... what i was pondering was going down the off-the-shelf number... my bro had seen an article in... Max power - I know, I dont think that he reads it regular to be honest... and it was on in car PCs, and i had my eye on a nice little double din number, touch screen, and the whole thing is integrated... rather than having to find a home for the control unit... Link to it here: http://www.jkmentertainment.com/jkm/ It was something that I was considering doing this year, but I've decided to hold off, and I'm not going to be doing anything else to the car for a while, unless I have to, so next year perhaps... only complication from my point of view, is that my car is only Single DIN, so I have another facia to cut up to get it right, but thats a job for later... Also - Thanks to The_Ex_leper and Selkie for loaning me their standard sterieo for size testing purposes....
  10. Yeah its a very nice site to use, very informative... but then, as he does not do any of that really (well, not commercially) its a good idea to be giving folk that kind of info, as in the end I suppose its makes his life easier...
  11. Dont really know, but I might have thought so... I'm sure that they are much the same in that respect... I cant say for sure though...
  12. I think that its an easy enough job to do your self if your up for it mate, but perhaps to buy the kit is not the cheapest and I think that it takes time and... If you go to polished bliss' website there are some very good step by step guides for how to do it, you can also buy all the gear that you need from them too... Link for Polished Bliss: http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/ and their how-to guides: http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/guides.html
  13. Think G is on nights... same as me... But they wont let me drive this one... unless he's home again...? That just makes it worse though... On the phone at the wheel... at night... whilst working... shocking...
  14. Nice one! where did you get that then? Take it that it wasn't from Snap-on, I just had a look at their site and couldn't see it... Shiney!
  15. You mean your not even fitting them yourself!!!!
  16. all mods declared?
  17. Well ive just done mines, and to be honest, I just went with Keith Michaels... but I got a quote from A-plan first, and they came in at the same price as last years insureance, from KM, called KM and they just matched the quote... so I just stuck with them... I did have really good quotes from Direct line and privilidge, but then as soon as they heard the word "modifications" it jumped RIGHT up... and I wouldn't imagine that they do like for like on mods Like KM or A-Plan...
  18. Hahaha! I wasn't going to say that although I nearly did, as I remember you saying that a week or 2 ago!!!
  19. Yeah, feeling the love for the Mirrors mate! REALLY suit your car!!!
  20. Ah gotcha, my bad! One thing though that I am curious about, is if your car is mapped, what effect would this have on your engine? ie: would it cause running problems with the extra back pressure in the exhaust system... Could this then affect your emmissions...? I dont know, just curious...
  21. Well if you are goign to the extent that you are going to get the bit fabricated, then why not just get a 3" sports cat? to suit the exsisting 3" pipework... I'm sure that its not going to be that much more expensive, and to be honest, the 3" system is not really worth having if you are running the 2.5" downpipe... I may be wrong there... but I'm fairly certain that thats the case...?
  22. And whats with uploading the BIGGEST PICTURES IN THE UNIVERSE? the forum will only display them at 800, but takes all the time to load the whole thing... and means that anyone with a crepe connection cant see anything... Hell, even my ok connection sometimes takes a while to load some of them...
  23. Grant, did the SpecG sale fall through? I thought that it was coming up here? They seem pretty excited about it... I'm also under orders to stop giving you into trouble for selling it until they have it!!!!
  24. Nice one, what you going for? More of the same?
