Use the mastic and the gasket, should be able to get some at most motor factors, was told of this by some guys that race high powered track cars putting out about 550bhp so should be fine for us [] Marty.

Wee tip [] Use high temp. mastic on the exhaust gaskets, it seals the joint and is flexible. Marty.

Great post Cal. No man is ever happy, its like boxing, theres always someone whos eventually gonna take your title, if you know what i mean. Compared to the majority of other road users, the Scoob will wipe the floor with them, and modding is just the icing on the cake. Pound for pound id say the Imprezas is the best of the best. Try buying something even near the power and handling capabilities of the Scoob and your looking at Supercar prices. Our cars have bags of character, which some other marques can only dream of, which brings me back to your original point, which is to enjoy it, in whatever shape, or state of power it has under the bonnet. Thanks would have to go to John S. and the K/Hill staff for making an event like this possible in the first place, these guys do a marvellous job. Would also like to say, the ontrack driving was of the highest order, when you consider what power some of these machines are puting out. Yeah thats right Craig, my m8 Steve was driving my car at the time, as his Lancia integrale had developed a fault and couldnt continue.[] It was his first time out in my car and was getting used to the setup, he had pulled right slowing coming into the hairpin as i saw you pass [] It was a busy day, and cant really remember being on track, in front of,or behind any scoobs, it seemed to be full of lotus cars when i was on. It would have been good to have had a run with you on track tho, theres always the nxt time, as the old saying goes [] By the way my m8 Steve is now considering a Scoob, as he was well impressed with the my buggy. p.s. will have to work out the bill for him thrashing it near the end. lol lol lol []

Just wondering what you guys and gals were running today ??? A few pounds make all the difference, as i found out [] to my cost, ala Colin vid, when he posts. I was running 22 lb all round and car handled ok, into pits and upped them to 30 lb [] back off sharpish and down to 26 lb before i needed the wrecker !!! Marty.
