The rears arent bad to fit.
Remove rear seats
Undo the bolt holding the seal belt reel and this gives you the access to the rear strut tops
Remove nuts on strut tops
wangle the top of the strut brace ends in, then tighten them up with the nuts
bolt in the seat belt reel again
attach the centre part of the strut brace and tighten it up
replace the rear seats
Jobs a good un

Or how about a Moray run to Crail Banzai next sunday? I was thinking of heading down anyway but was maybe going down on the saturday night to KDY, but if theres interest then I'll head down early sunday morning. Just an idea!?!

Looking good Arch,
you could put spacers/washers to raise the back of the bonnet by a few mm's. That could give you that extra bit of clearance for the ICV and also helps let that heat out the engine bay. (as long as regulations allow of course)

I was in Abz at the start o the week, walkin down union street and i couldnt help but notice how much foreigners were there.
By foreigners I mean (and I'm not trying to be racist here) blacks. Anyone else noticed the city is full of them now?

Wayne, I can't thank you enough for the cracking job you've done on my pride and joy, I'm more than happy with it and I hope to keep up the shine.
Its a pity the sun hasnt been shining much up here at the moment but it is shiny shiny
Thanks everybody for your nice comments, I'm quite happy with the car at the moment, although I do have a front splitter to purchase to finish off the facelift look, and possible put some silver alloys on it for the summer.
The mirrors are carbon and purchased on ebay international, they were a good fit (unlike some I have heard of).
John I do have a time attack style headlight vent which I tried out at knockers the other week, good to get some cold air direct to the induction. It is of course not road legal so I'll only be using that on track.
Cheers

feeling the call of the newage then Rich?
Well I am glad I didnt buy a hawkeye last year because all the prices dropped and I would have lost a good few grand.
I'll be sticking with the trusty classic until a White Spec C hawkeye lures me in

If it is just an ecu learning curve then you could disconnect the battery for 30 minutes to reset the ecu.

Watch out for the radiator fan electrical wire touching the headers!
I got a new bigger alloy radiator fitted and had the fan moved to the drivers side. A number of miles later the fan had stopped working and the wire had been rubbing on the header wrap. Enough to melt through the plastic of the wire and rub a bit of lagging away.
Make sure the wire is secured away from the headers or the same may happen mate.
Pity you missed a track day session, i would have liked to see the back end shennanigans that you are known for
