Just recently my hand controller for my apexi has been stuck on th elogo, according to one site it happens cos the power fc and the controller arent compatable but i bought mine brand new and it worked sweet up untill a few days ago. Im gonna try unplugging it then plugging it back in again tomorrow, anyone else ever had experience of this?
  3. 10k to get a classic sti to over 400bhp? First thing you should do is find a better place to source your parts mate
  4. I also know a couple of guys who are very, very good at detailing work and insanely well priced. Send me a PM if you want to know more mate
  5. Guys, Ive got a bit of a knock from the rear of my car, i know how bad these things are for being the shocks but ive just fitted Spanking new BC coilovers, ive also changed the rear drop links to combat the noice, its still there, seems more prominent over slower bumps but its doing my nut in. Any one got any pointers on what else i could look into? Cheers in advance
  6. Ive got that kit on my Classic, brilliant bit of kit for the money, i had Teins on my last scoob and i think these are better, if you get them from apex performance the guy has a good idea of spring rates etc and will see you right so its not too harsh. FWIW im running 3/4 in my classic but i imagine your scoob may be a bit heavier
  7. Another thumbs up for the BC kit, its really, really well made and comfy as hell
  8. Its insane that we cant do stuff like that, its also nuts that somehow these thieving fcuks still have human rights. I say as soon as you break the law your human rights go out the window, this country is waaaaaay to soft on criminals
  9. Have a look in here for your model mate http://www.greddy.com/tech/ All Greddys instructions manuals
  10. Came home this morning, noticed the steering was a bit heavy and the pump was making some amount of noise, turned the car off and went inside, when i came back out 5 mins later noticed some smoke coming from the grill, popped the bonnet and noticed my A/C belt was missing, then noticed it was evenly distributed around my engine bay. Upon closer inspection i noticed that part of the belt had wrapped itself around the inside of my PS pump pulley and the smoke was coming from power steering fluid leaking out and onto the exhaust below, i pulled all the bits out and was left with this. I fired up to autosave and managed to get a couple of belts and a bottle of slick 50 PS fluid (all they had). Chucked the belts on and topped the fluid up then fired the car up, i think the bit of belt wrapped around the inside of the pulley was keeping most fluid in, as soon as i fired the car up it spewed fluid out then started making horrible noises, i had to drive it the 10 yards round the back of my house, sounded like id ran over a fleet of ducks. So now im hoping to get a pump of Adzer on this very forum, the one he has is one off an older car but he thinks that the only diff is the reservoir and i can swap that, can anyone confirm? Also any recommendation on fluid or is it all 10 a penny? Cheers Guys
  11. Ive got 355's on my type r, i dunno about modding the brakets or the like, everything in the kit bolted on and fitted sweet as. Deffo need 18's though, its pretty tight
  12. Once i drove my car and didnt care about mpg. Oh hud on, thats every day. You dont buy cars like these to worry about economy mate
  13. Sounds like a new fuel filter wouldnt go amiss mate, cheap as h3ll and really easy to do, if the filters past it then all the gunk could be getting past and blocking up the lines, for the sake of a few quid it would be worth doing
  14. It seems there is a lot of negativity towards how the scoobs AWD system copes with the snow, i have a type R so obvioulsy no ABS and i have the DCCD. The DCCD is a small work of genius, if the back starts feeling twitchy i just keep winding it forward till it tames the car, my drive was covered in about 4/5 inches on saturday, set the DCCD to lock and just drove up it as normal, quite an epic bit of kit for sure. Obviously stopping is still an issue but you just have to put a bit of thought into it and make sure you have the space to stop and be gentle as h3ll on the brakes, sudden movements are a massive no no
  15. Clearly your celebrity status hasnt travelled that far DALE Maybe stick your actual name in your sig or have your username as your actual name? Wild i know!
  16. For what its worth, i bought the H&S centre cestion and scoobyworlds ninja 2 back box in a deal from their site. Very good fit, very good quality and not too loud, plus comes with a bung which i had in all the way down to see andy F, was very quiet, i reccomend
  17. ChunkyMonkey - You, my good man. are on it! We seem to be on the same wavelength. Im off to stick straw up the side of my Type R to spell out SWRT - best of both heritages
  18. Nope, owning a subaru is about owning a great car that offers lots more than many other cars out of the box, its not so small children and adults can point and laugh at the chav in his stickered up noisy impreza, its about going for a drive out the back roads with some friends and getting a smile. coming back with your hearing in place is a bit of a bonus Before you go wild im not saying your a chav im just pointing out that i personally didnt buy an impreza to have people point at my car. But if you do want people to point (and potentially laugh) then get graphic'd up my good man
  19. No one knows where pro grip is at? Grim
  20. No graphics, very tacky unless done correctly on a full team race car. For jaunting around the town it just screams out 'look at me' If you dont want to be Cole Trickle leave the graphics off
