If Paul thinks he may be able to sell engine / box on, he may offer you something & deduct it of final bill. On the other hand if he feels that he may be stuck with the items you will need to collect it when your car is finished. Gramps if you need to collect your old engine & box, or you wish to keep it give me a shout and I will follow you up in one of the vans.

You mentioned to me not long ago that you were possibly thinking of changing to something different Gramps. I will put money on it that when your car is all running with the new lump your be glad you never changed car. A sorted Impreza running at 400 or more is SO much fun. If I were you mate EXE TC is your next mod. I would find it hard to believe that there is a better suspension out there. Cornering near the limits with EXE TC fitted can be scary. If you want, I will take you for a fast run through the lanes in my car and you can then judge for yourself

Well..... I put a post on the MLR explaining about the cancellation of the Brands event. I started the post buy saying that I had a passion for performance Jap cars, and I have test drove an Evo 9, an Evo 10 among others. After careful comparisons relating to handling, power and general feel I opted for an awesome piece of kit, a Subaru P1. I then went on to say "just kidding" and explained the Brands issue. I popped out for an hour and when I returned to read the replies they had deleted the post !! I guess I somehow annoyed the moderator

I have a suggestion. This event does sound to good to just sweep under the carpet. I think many of would agree on that. I would be prepared (with some others), to distribute letters throughout what ever areas in question, and there is one guy on here that could write a letter that I think would work. HUGH !! If we can get another chance it will be worth it, and the guys responsible will this time know !!

That's a real shame. A perfect venue too. I may write to Brands management and try to convince them to give everyone one more chance. Lets face it, if everyone is aware of respecting local residents I hardly think it will happen again. May prove a good idea for a few more guys / girls to write in too !!
