  1. Thanks guys. Hows Hugh? long time no see. If you are about this coming Sat Hugh I am at Brands all day "Open pit track day". Mikkers: the car that has been modified both fairly radically and with a sympathetic touch." nice way of putting it mate. RB5: To be honest I would have been happy, and was expecting around the 530 mark. Once 500 is reached every 10 hp is very hard to achieve so I was over the moon and 560. Col: Thanks mate. I gave the car it's first "balls out driving" session at Snetterton about 6 weeks ago and late pm we found the optimum set up. There were some pretty fierce cars on track including some TA cars and NOTHING came close to us. I was truly shocked at how well it went. I do have the opportunity of taking the power much higher but it's mad to drive now so I am calling it a day. Having a baffled sump installed in Feb as the mechanical grip was so good on Hankooks it will prove a problem with oil surge on 888's. See you all soon

  12. I don't wish to be involved, but one thing for all to consider is that forums, threads, posts, texting and such like can be, and often are misread. Attitudes, mood swings, individuals humor, friendly digs and the choice of words can easily be taken the wrong way. Two things need to be read at the same time, the text, and the writer.

  17. Skip trucks require a netting to be fitted over a loaded skip, but there are no laws saying tippers carrying aggregates etc need a cover. Most damage is done by stones etc being thrown out of the tyres of trucks that have been on site, or loose aggregate from the back of trucks that have just tipped there load. Wheel washes on site entrances normally apply in city centres / or to prevent wet mud on highways.
  18. That's a lovely example you have there Michael !! Good find. It will grow on you, I have a P1. Guys don't realise just how good they are until they have owned one for a while. Enjoy
