  1. Use these mate. Brilliant and not expensive. These are the only guys I would use on my car. Ask for James or Darren at SPR Coachworks Tele 01825 762 512 sprcoachworks.co.uk 20 minutes past Tunbridge Wells (Uckfield)
  2. Racing???? who was racing? If ol' Plod thought that was racing I would suggest he spent five minutes in his dictionary heading directly for the letter "R".
  3. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Brian
  4. I think you made the correct decision Trevor. Not just the dirt & cleaning aspect but in time stone chips. I am remaining flapped.
  5. Good night guys & girls. Thinking of de-flapping?.... the car that is, not the wife!
  6. Cool..thanks Steve see you at 7:00pm
  7. This is not the same place where a few of us met a few months ago ?? where the Skyline was on the rollers ??
  8. Northern Tools!!... I ordered a large metal shed from them last year. Started to build it then realised that I was 4 corner brackets short. I phoned then the same day and they said they would sent them on to me. Trouble being I had already used 300+ screws to erect the base and four side sections, braces etc. That night we had bad winds and in the morning it was nothing but a twisted wreck beyond repair. I phoned Northern Tools and they showed NO concern at all. Never received the four brackets. Threw away the shed and £ 600.00 !! Shut my account down the next day. Bunch of the biggest ******* I have ever known so be careful.
  9. I thought the P1 Prodrive suspension was really impressive in all conditions but this set up is 3 times better. Check out my Project on Scoobynet.
  10. Good Man Brian
  11. Good point Granby. I believe the dB level is 105. The Gobstopper will more than likely be the loudest and that runs at 103 dB. I am not positive on the 105 at Bruntingthorpe though?. Brian D will tells us
  12. Ok.... I think we may have an airstrip we can use. Bruntingthorpe Airfield (near Leicester) has a concrete run way. Olly suggested it, and he feels that they will oblige. Brian D, would be the candidate to contact them as his previous communication skills have involved personal correspondence with the likes of Prodrive - Children In Need - Jeremy Clarkson - George Bush - Gary Glitter - The Lord's Resistance Army of Sudan - Blue Peter - The Beijing Olympic Committee - Granby's Hairdresser and Eureka Steve's handcuff supplier. Great News: Olly said he would be delighted to attend driving The Gobstopper You Tube??.....yooooo bet.
  13. Not sure if any of you know the guy in Tunbridge Wells with the white Evo running 800bhp, but I heard the other day he has blown the engine to bits? Think it was an Evo8?
  14. I am seeing Olly & Matt tomorrow. I will ask them if they know of a place.
  15. This is why I thought my original bhp brackets were more fair? We could always have more cars to spread the bhp more?? 8 cars - 10, 12?
  16. Yeah.. a good one!
  17. Granby, after much debate between 1,367 fellow members of our club, you will be pleased to have learned that you have been nominated the "Rule Maker" Is Launch Control allowed? If all cars have it, no problem, is some cars have it, problem? Is race fuel allowed? PS. Many thanks Granby for offering your most respected time & attention to detail..
  18. Good man Deani 1. Deani 2. Fudge 3. 4. 5. 6.
  19. Whilst sipping liquids one crisp evening on Steve & Suzy's (Eureka) well heated patio decking, Granby came up with an idea that may prove interesting. This would need to be addressed off the public roads I guess, somewhere like an airfield or such like. To have five Impreza's in a straight line within the following power ranges. Car 1. 200 - 250 bhp Car 2. 300 - 350 bhp Car 3. 400 - 450 bhp Car 4. 500 - 500 bhp Car 5. 600 - 650 bhp. One straight race over a 300 - 400Mts. We could set cameras up both ends, in cars etc and will make an interesting comparison to watch. What does every one reckon ?? I feel pretty convinced if we can pull this off I could talk with Matt & Olly and get Car Nr 6 to be The Gobstopper
  20. So on the 13th you have a quick car and on the 14th you have "proper blokes toy" Don't forget matey.... 400bhp+ & wet roads = new ball game....... 3rd & 4th gear will feel like 2nd when pushing in the wet!.
  21. Hi mate. This company will hopefully sort you out. It's not the company I initially mentioned, (BBM) however these should prove good. Hit http://www.chela.co.uk/silicone/index.php
  22. Leave it with me Trevor. I will try to find something. There are a couple of companies I can try. BBM would be favourite. Based at Aylesford and Heathrow. I will let you know.
  23. HEY!! .. my clients seem to suggest they were more than satisfied with the way their holes had been addressed
