Can't say I've had more dust problems with the Red Stuffs over the standard pads. MAke sure you bed them in as described because if you don't you'll just kill them and end up going through a set in no time.

I have green stuff pads on my escort and thought they were amazing as they produced very little brake dust and never really had to clean my wheels. They also came with a bed in layer so i took it easy with them to begin with. Considering getting red stuff for my subaru

My mate just got new discs and pads on his TT, after getting his new polished 19" alloys.  My mechanic mate asked for the Red Stuff pads, but was advised by the shop to go for the Green Stuff as Red creates lots of dust.

I had to drive it back from the garage as he was offshore at the time and what a difference the ceramic pads make.  Stopped about 5 meters short of the first junction I came to! [:$]

Going to get them on my car on its next service in Feb!

As far as I am aware, and I think on advice from EBC, the Greenstuff should NEVER be fitted to the front of an Impreza (too soft).  Greenstuff OK for the rears I think, but should be Red Stuff for the fronts.

Greenstuff shouldn't be used on the front of a scoob, redstuff are ok, i found them very dusty and didn't last long ( about 4 months i think).

Now on yellowstuff and they are much better, less dust and plenty of bite, still going strong after a year and 3 trackdays. No fade on track either.

Am using Red stuff on my 9, and think there an improvement over the standard pads (brembos are dung (not strong enough for the extra weight of the Newage IMHO after coming from the RX8))

At the time I couldnt justify the ferodo's but I know there the dogs danglies, but the Red Stuff are a decent 2nd

Wathc out for pad life with the red stuff ceramic pads. I've currenty got a set on my car to try as a (lower cost) alternative to DS2500s. DS2500s would last about 15k - 18k per set, including some track use. Currently the red stuff cermics have done about 6k miles, and are worn to the point of needing replaced, and that's without a single lap of a track anywhere!

OK, they were about half the price of DS2500s, but I don't want to imagine how long they would last if I had done one or two sessions around Knockhill.

Think I'll go back to the DS2500s or perhaps try the PAGIDs (even more expensive) next time around.

Ds 2500's are fantastic! Well worth the money.
Much are they? Judging by you're signature, your a real Scooby family huh?

When i bought my one this summer we worked out it is the 12th one my family have bought off Bob at Town and County. Funnily enough everyone there knows our names! Lol!
