4Hero Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 how about these [] Made by D'Vinci in the US of A. £2000 per wheel though, I think I'll wait until they come down in price..
clutdav Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Those are nuts - can you imagine trying to clean the inside of them.............................[] Dave
STi_Bandit Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 I think they are going to offer very little cooling to the brakes :-) Bandit
ANDYJDMSTI Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 how long b4 we see them touted by the max power brigade? Crap IMHO [N]
fai17 Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Awesome design but total sh1t for road use as there is no brake cooling[sn]
sti pretender Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Not quite chavy enough for Maxpower need some neons or LED's behind just to get the corsa, saxo, etc that extra bling.
slo2 Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Are they made of glass? Better not get a set in case the wife kerbs them!![]
col666 Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 I have seen a chopper(motorbike!) with similar wheels. Made out of super strong plastic the same stuff they make aeroplane windscreens out of, looked very cool with no spokes. Col.
thewelsho Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Hmmm, not to my liking I'm afraid... pretty cool looking though.
the squiggle Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Just wait until some oriental nutter copies them using that stuff we made magazine racks out of in Craft and Design. Then another Oriental nutter sells them on Ebay for £100 inc tyres and shipping from Hu-flun-dung. The backwards brigade gets all moist when the realise they can fit them to thier Nova's and the such like with amazing ease. Now Lexan can can withstand silly pressures and tolerences but the stuff we used to make magazine racks, i got a 2 day suspension for bringing in my brothers adult material to size up the racks, in Craft and Design is not very strong at all but it does smash a Craft and Design classroom window very easily when thrown at the teacher's head, another 5 day suspension. Clearly they need help. Really good help. As in the help that is special. International help agency Great humanitarian help on an unprecendented scale............ Maybe one day the balls will drop. Against the stone cold floor. Causing death on a grand scale Clapping breaks out amongst the peasants Holly adorns the celebration banners Everyone rejoices at the demise of the cultural nemesis known as the ******** ********* Even the shoemaker enjoys a vintage wine at this time of gratitude Running down cobbled streets naked with balls of holly. Still delighted of thier continual recurring insurance policy ...............................
