mctwistuk Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Now i have the car sitting nice, sounding good with the exhaust mods and looking better from behind with the new spoiler i am ready to move on to my next modification. I can't do anything performance wise due to still being under warranty so can anyone suggest what i should do next?
gus the bus Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 A pair of Strut braces? will help your suspension even further[] Just so happens I'm doing a group buy if your interested?[] http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/803154/ShowPost.aspx Gus
drb5 Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Gauges. It's only a watchful thing and shouldn't bugger up your warranty.
mctwistuk Posted October 15, 2006 Author Posted October 15, 2006 lol nah no longer got a mortgage to pay for a while was thinking about a dump valve but not too sure. Like the noise but not sure what one to get. Also need to know if i need to change oil more frequently. Do they make the car run lean etc.
mctwistuk Posted October 15, 2006 Author Posted October 15, 2006 Lot of money though for Defis. Still struglging to talk myself into spending that kind of cash on them. Autogauges do full set for half the price of defis and they look so similar but i guess the arguement is still there that they are not defis.
drb5 Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 But he doesn't need one right now Peter? Defi's are expensive, as they're such good quality Chris and a doddle to fit. Autometer and the likes are a lot more time consuming and don't really have the accuracy and robustness of the Defi's.
mctwistuk Posted October 15, 2006 Author Posted October 15, 2006 Remap is on the cards for next year when the warranty is up. Will get a new fuel pump, injectors and a scoobyworld sportcat downpipe then a remap. Was thinking about the brakes as my next port of call. Just not sure what to do with them.
