wrxmania Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Steam came from my ears this morning! This morning as I looked at the wheels on my car, I notice that someone has half-inched my Lexus chrome valve caps, which match the 18's - NOT IMPRESSED. Be some stupid kid, who will steal them for their bike or to throw about. Pointless. Also a nice scrape about 8 inches long in the rear quarter above one of the wheels where they have probably had "a go" at it in passing. Idiots. When I spoke to my wife at lunchtime (she's a veterinary nurse) she said one of her clients and their three young kids were distraught because someone has stolen their 18 week old Labrador puppy from their garden - a man was seen walking down the road carrying it by a neighbour who phoned to check - by which time it was too late. Feel really sorry for those kids who just don't understand. What possesses some people - does society not care anymore? Sorry RANT OVER! Brian []
STi_Bandit Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Sorry to hear this brian i take it the lexus dont come with the locking valve caps :-(. Be thankful at least that they didnt take a liking to the lexus badage and tried to prise that off Like B*******gers, they think there above the law, and know how to get away with it Martin
craig mac Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 "Rant On" Sad Fekers[:@] I know where you are coming from re the Lab, Someone in my village stole a boxer dog as well, 3 years old and they have never seen it since...... .w***s This made me go out and buy a padlock for our back gate as we have 2 of them and if they were knicked it would destroy[:'(] me, never mind how it must effect kids.....................[] People like that should thing about the knock on effect something like that can have.......Do they have kids? How would they feel? How would it effect his family...... Second thoughts, ar5e probably does not care.............. Shoot the barsteward's [:@] "Rant mode off" Craig
wrxmania Posted August 7, 2006 Author Posted August 7, 2006 They are not locking but they seem to lock on really tight - they must have had a good go at tmhem to get them - I had just checked my tyre pressure before leaving the house and they were tight. B []
st3ph3n Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Some people are just shit. Stealing a puppy from children, prison is too good for someone like that. Unfortunately having nice things is just a trigger for someone malicious to steal/damage/abuse them.
craigwrx Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Its sad but true that we live amongst people of that nature, well they are not people, there animals ....you also get the animal that carries a 6inch blade around, and would stick it in ur chest just for fun ......there are some sick f**kers around.
david_taylor Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Stealing someones dog...honestly, that is low. Having always had a dog, I would be devestated. Thats as close as you can get to kidnapping a member of your family. Pity you cant get tracking microchips eh! Could be a market for that the way society is these days.
wrxmania Posted August 7, 2006 Author Posted August 7, 2006 Our dog has a microchip - routinely scanned by most vets - reveals owners details etc. Well worth the money. Brian []
dave_morgan Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Nicking valve caps seems to be the in-thing with kids just now. 'Dusties' I beleive is the 'in' term! No respect for other peoples property these days the wee shytes! After losing 3 or 4 sets, I've now resorted to crappy plastic ones. Sad As for nicking a dog - that really is the lowest of the low.
ANDYJDMSTI Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Our dog has a microchip - routinely scanned by most vets - reveals owners details etc. Well worth the money. Brian [] Mine too............not much use though if your dog is thrown in a pit and used as bait for training fighting dogs as is the trend nowadays. [:@]
jcscoob Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Bad news Brian [8o|] The theivin caants swiped, not the dog but his spike, rope and clip from the front garden a few weeks ago, notice they never tryed it when he was cliped to it [] .... homos !!
dipsy Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Sorry to hear about your car wrxmania .Must be devastating for that family and other familys to have pets stolen.
scoobysailor Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 A few weeks ago we had my wifes car broken into. Screwdrivered off the lock, damaged the door skin, just shy of £800 worth of damage and what did they get out the car.......a pair of leather gloves. F%£cking eejits. Short rant over.
