To paint or not to paint.

Im going to order a front splitter for my car and wondering whether to paint or not to paint.

 

Any comments ?

I got the Scott Lowe front splitter on my STi and i have to say IMHO i much preffer it left black over colour coding it.

Leaving it black looks mint :-)

i'm going to be different and say paint it []

a colour coded one blends in a bit more and is better on the eye than a black one

Dipsy... fairly confident neither of those cars belong to Spince - they are probably just pics he has found on the net somewhere.

IMO it looks way better NOT painted, I'd leave it. Plus, it will save yo utime hassle and money to leave as is. I like the reggie in the non-painted pic: ROBO COP How cool! ED-209 had better watch out!

I am also putting an order for one  [Y] same colour scooby as u, i most certainly am not going to colour code it ...i think by doing so you could also create problems for urself, if u catch the bottom of it, or even stone chips, u will always be touching it up ...just my opinion of course ...

Dont know if its just the angle its pictured @ but I actually prefer it painted. left in Black it looks huge like the rim of a wheely bin. As I say might just be the angle of the pic!?

My car is blue 06 though.

Im wondering what exhaust to get as well.

I had the Ninja backbox and H&S decat centre section on my 02 WRX. I dont think any of it will fit on the STI.

I've just fitted a Scott Lowe front splitter and have left it unpainted, really finishes off the front end. Mine is Black though!
