Recommend A Half Decent Central Hotel Anyone

Fancy a wee long weekend in The Dam with the wife, to go Subaru Spotting [][:@]

Looking for somewhere close to central station, and Dam Square

Anyone recommend any?

theres a floating hotel (think its called boatel or summit) about a 2 mins walk from central station , which is actually nae to shabby ive stayed there a couple of times

Try these guys. Used them a lot down under and never had a bad hotel yet. They tend to be expensive hotels, that are selling off their surplus rooms cheap at the last minute (2 weeks ahead I think).

I've stayed in the Krasnopolski which is very nice and right on the square. Got a cracking deal on it, but it's usually mega bucks. Have a scan down that site closer to the time, and you're bound to find something.

The Krasnapolsky is right on DAM Square mate, bit expensive - but superb!

swissotel nice too, just diagonal over from the krasnapolski. 4 star but not the cheapest. has offers through expedia on occasions .

As for scooby spotin iv never seen one, but mind you i can never realy see anything when im there and the stuff i have seen its usuly forgoten by the time i get home !! []

ever thought about camping craig?? www.campingzeeburg.nl/  i camped there for a fortnight once and it was great!! 24 hour bar on the campsite as well []

Suzies a couple of the bulldog ones or the hard rock cafe were usual haunts of mine , ive had a few crazy nights out in amsterdam i went across for a weekend once and put on 3/4 of a stone lol  , beat that telly tubbies!! []
