Mind you need to watch ALL of it - a couple of my work mates missed the bit AFTER the end credits last week, and that was probably the funniest bit.

Programmes like this need to be on every night,i have never laughed so much in ages, the tears were running when Winston slipped on the pain in the living room and Victor had him against the wall.Pure class.

Like said already , usually these type of shows lose their sparkle with age, but  this just gets funnier all the time!!

The bit where they were in the D.I.Y store talking over the tannoy system was pure class, and the the front door for a pasting table[:D],

i thought i was going to wet myself, the tears were streaming!!

Cannae wait for the next installment !!

With the whole "Engerland" thing in the football, it brought to mind a comedy show where a Scotsman rode up to the English border on a pushbike, crossed over, shouted "POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFS" then crossed back and rode away. Bit of webby research threw up "Absolutely" as the programme.

Some class clips here (Real Player)

And here (wmv) - "Mc Glashan - We even invented the English" is funny as f***

And here (DivX) - This has the classic McGlashan crossing the English border and reading the news.

Sheer class. [:)]

Is "Absolutely" the show where they had a meeting round a table and always went on about "Stoneybridge"..?

Boaby fae Still Game was in it too...

If so ,it was a quality programme.

U sure he was in Absolutely Del? I know he was in Pulp Video a while back.

He's class in Still Game, but canny forgive him for appearing in those AWFUL Arnold Clark ads this year. Makes me want to smack him in the teeth. With a JCB.

Absolutely was probably the funniest Scottish comedy sketch show ever. One of my favourite skits saw Mc Glashan as a reporter for a new Scottish newspaper which always found humorous reasons to slag off our English pals. Pure quality.

I've got a heap of them on good old video somewhere but no "vid-ay-o" (Stoneybridge pronounciation!)to play them on.  Stephen, could you sort me out with a copy of your DVD or can it be bought somewhere?
