dougster Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 For drivers and people wishing PAX laps. I still think this recommendation is in place.
gus the bus Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Dougster, Sorry for the hijack but is there an age restriction for PAX laps @ KH. my niece is possibly coming up with me n my bro and I was wondering whether she could get round with someone if she does come up? she's 11-12yrs. Gus
dougster Posted June 9, 2006 Author Posted June 9, 2006 · No minimum age, but probably about 16 years old. Passengers must be adequately secured by the adult seatbelt. If you are unsure, then please talk to one of the marshalls who will advise. This was taken from an old SIDC KH info pack so talk to JohnS or one of the marshalls tomorrow.
col666 Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 I dont think there is an age restriction on pax laps, there was a guy lapping seriously quickly in a GT3 RS the other week with a kid no more than 10 in the passenger seat.
gus the bus Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 []Thanks Guys! I'll PM John S for clarification. Gus
sheep Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Dougster i was at a track night a couple of weeks ago and the long sleeve thing is only for people driving soft tops. ( take a long sleeve top incase i am wrong)
dougster Posted June 9, 2006 Author Posted June 9, 2006 The reason for this rule is unclear to me. We'll hopefully get clarification tomorrow.
ally-b Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 As Ian Forrest explained at previous briefings . . . . . . It is so your bri-nylon shirt sticks properly in the event of fire [] []Al.
dougster Posted June 9, 2006 Author Posted June 9, 2006 I know...........a bit of a silly rule me thinks!!
fai17 Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 I know...........a bit of a silly rule me thinks!! Me think so too.....it's bucking loasting out there[]
st3ph3n Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Peter it's actually quite Grim when you pass Harthill and all the way into Edinburgh. Very foggy. Apparently fife is too. Although the forecast is for that to be burnt off and for it to be an absolute scorcher this afternoon. So I've got some suntan lotion with me, given my ability to combust.
