Steve Holmes
Am considering having a Power Eng cone filter and pipework fitted on Monday on my STi8 PPP. The local dealer recommended them and said that it would not affect my new warranty. Has anyone had and experience with PE, as they do seem very experienced? Ta Link to comment
phil
Is this an induction kit your talking about? If it is then I'd be surprised it doesn't have warrenty implications but I stand to be corrected Link to comment
Steve Holmes
Yes it is Phil, I was also very surprised but Sparshat's of Botley, Southampton, are a great dealer with very constructive help. They said that this recommendation to use Power Engineering was based on experience they had had with them stating that the MAF sensor issue was addressed by PE. They also said that PE also did a lot of the testing on the PPP ECU for Subaru. How is the STi 8 by the way, have you had the PPP done? Link to comment
phil
Sti being delivered 1st September with PPP already done Link to comment

stormy
Used them a few weekends ago to get bump steer, drop links alignment etc, very helpful explained everything and rather than take your money explain what works, what dosnt and more importantly whats better for the car. Meet a few other car owners most of which had horror stories and had come to Powerstation to get things fixed!. Link to comment
ChrisM
Stormy, sure you're not thinking of Power Station? Link to comment
Badge
Not that this helps, Had a PE cone induction kit fitted on my P1 when it was still an infant. Can't fault PE work etc... however scoobs sounded pants and it was off in a week. But thats personal preference for you! Lot of money if you dont like it. have fun Peter. Link to comment
