Plug
Greetings, citizens. Well, the time has come. First thing tomorrow I do my last journey in the Scooby, 50 odd miles to go and pick up the Merc. Although I'm looking forward to getting the new car, I think the dealer will have to prise the Subaru keys out of my clenched fingers.... I've been driving the Scoob at every opportunity this week, far more than I normally do (I tend to use Mrs. Plug's Panda during the week for going to work and general running about), just because I've known that I won't have it much longer []. It's reminded me what a great piece of kit the Scoob is, easy to drive as a Civic when you're not in a hurry, yet goes like stink when you are (and grips like a limpet that's been superglued to its rock at the same time). Mine being a wagon, it's even practical as well.. got our new cooker in the back the other week, still with all the plastic and polystyrene on. It's a tough act to follow, that Mercedes better be good! So it's bye-bye after 2-1/2 very happy years, although I'll still be about on the forums as you're such a nice bunch []. Oh, and if you see a dark metallic blue C43 thundering up behind you in your mirrors, be a good sort and get out of the way, would you? [] Take it easy peeps, Cheers, Plug Link to comment
