JohnSt Posted January 25, 2006 Author Posted January 25, 2006 Dave, only happy to help, sorry the advice was not as you'd hoped. Personnally I think these operations to make "It Bigger" are only temporary at best, bollocks, did I say that out loud ? Peter, was that £600 worth of egg noodles you wanted invoiced for, or was it the repair to the aircon ? ---john---
dave_morgan Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 VERY tempted, but am well short on the cash front at the moment. Anything else you need for the car just now John? Dave
JohnSt Posted January 25, 2006 Author Posted January 25, 2006 DAve, what have you got going spare ---john---
dave_morgan Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 Oops, forgot about this thread !! Emm, I'll need to do a bit of a "stock check" since my house move, as I've kinda lost track of what I've got a bit! So, off the top of my head.. - Rear Bumper (older classic) - Front bumper (late classic) with damaged P1 splitter (at a mates house though, so will need to check he's not sold it!) - Classic Windscreen (which is actually spoken for, but I'll let you know if it drops through for any reason) - Sti 5 engine (in bits, with one blown piston) - Standard classic exhaust system - A couple of classic crystal headlights (one damaged) - A couple of classic door mirrors (one damaged) - OE classic indicators - A pine french dresser (possibly spoken for, but not confirmed yet) - An R33 Skyline GTR with R34 engine and box - An R33 GTR engine and turbos with a sick bearing - An R33 5 speed gearbox - A set of Vauxhall Nova 14" alloys! - A single Mk 2 VW Golf BBS alloy - Loads of light fittings which I bought from an auction, then didn't end up using ! (mostly eye-ball downlighters, although there's some nice 'different' stuff as well) - Single divan bed - IKEA Bonde furniture (in Beech) - loads of stuff left over from my last house - mostly full height bookshelf/storage type units. Ok, I'm maybe scraping the barrel a little, but I thought for rallying, some of this stuff might be useful! A 2.7 litre GTR engine in an impreza would be a fun project! I do have some tastier stuff as well, but I'm probably keeping it to go on my car if I keep it (defis, H&S system,17" P1 alloys etc). Let me know if there's anything you see that you fancy. Dave
JohnSt Posted January 28, 2006 Author Posted January 28, 2006 Nothing I need there Dave, thanks anyway, would consider swaps guys if anyof you have serious go faster bits, PMs welcome. I'm thinking christmas is still hanging round peoples necks here ---john---
JohnSt Posted January 31, 2006 Author Posted January 31, 2006 This now comes with a six month Warranty, courtesy of a very generous Mr Forrest. I have an offer on it though, and if the asking price is not met tonight it'll be gone. ---john---
