martyn_slorach Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Well done Seevers! If you find yourself struggling try reading a book called "the easy way to stop smoking" by allen carr, I read it and went from 25 fags a day to zero with no problems....honest ! best £6 i ever spent, wish i'd read it 10 years ago. martyn
dave_morgan Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Well done, keep it up. Think of all the extra cash you'll have to spend on the car . Start a jar now and put all the cash you're saving in there - very rewardig to see it mount up, and treat yourself in a few months.
ally-b Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Off them for 3 1/2 months now . I regularly want to have one , but I'd only be cheating myself . I feel no different since I've stopped ... no fitter , healthier or anything .... I've just seen too many friends and family go slowly and painfully due to smoking to want to go like that when I get older . Al Ps , I'm now £35/£40 a week better-off , which can only be good
vicki Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Ally, just you stay off them! At least you won't be feeling any worse
chrissy Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 well in del, keep it up if only ma old man would do the same lol
ally-b Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 I've been venting my new-found non-smoker "crabbit-ness" on the repairshop that had my car . So don't you worry V , the old cheery Ally will be back soon ... (soon as they clowns sort my car ) If ever I was going to regress then it would have been in the last few weeks ... and I didn't ... Al.
sma01 Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 well done mate... the saving must free up a lot more £ for mods
