st3ph3n Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 White wheels are on my list for this year. At least I think they are.
gus the bus Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 I've always liked white wheels! I think they would really suit your car Stephen Gus
col666 Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 White wheels look great on a red car, have you not seen Muddys red blobeye oobster? Col.
terminator Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 White on a red car is fine but not on black.I think white wheels cheapen the look of most rides. On black i would go with 19s with a deep polished rim.
st3ph3n Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 19s just make it look like a ned corsa with the biggest wheels that would fit. 17" or 18" ultra lightweight japanese wheels is where its at.
oobster Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 How about this one? Part of the GB on Scoobynet
st3ph3n Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Not bad. I have a shortlist of wheels. Work Emotion CR in white or gunmetal. 5ZIGEN ProRacer GN+ in Hyper Black. Ray's Engineering Volk LE37T in Gunmetal with the Diamond Cut Rim. And a couple more I'm eyeing up.
oobster Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 get some pics up stephen, and we'll assist you with your choice.
st3ph3n Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Oh go on then Work Emotion 5Zigen Volks - probably too expensive in reality. Buddy Club
colinj Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Shlurp.......some lovely wheels there Ilike those last ones, buddy club. Depends what look your going for really!!
oobster Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 My opinion? Work Emotion, in Gunmetal. Wouldn't say no to any of those though.
colinj Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Work Emotion if your going for rally look, Buddy Club for a more softer approach, that chrome rim will take a hell of a lot of tlc to keep shining....believe me ive been there before!!
st3ph3n Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Prices per corner, UK sourced, 18"x7.5" or 8", without rubber: Buddy Club: £200 Work Emotion: £260 5Zigen: £300 Volk: £500!!!!!!!!!!!! The Buddy Club ones come without the polished lip for less, and in black or white in that variety. They might look good in white.
gus the bus Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 << Would white wheels suit a red blobeye? Eh? >> I was gonna add on my previous post that I think yours would really suit them too Andy! Every red car I have ever owned has ended up with white alloys! Go for it mate
gus the bus Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 << How about this one? Part of the GB on Scoobynet >> Oh yes they are nice! Get them Andy, go on you know you want too! can you get them in gold for me Thats probably the nicest wheel I've seen and I've been looking
