Gumball Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 could still do it but my payments would be about 550-600 a month is it worth it for a car?
wrxmania Posted January 7, 2006 Author Posted January 7, 2006 Got to be But £600 p/m for 5 years - EEEEEK!!!!!!!
Gumball Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 aye,..........................its worth it lol the phone is sitting there waiting to be used in the morning i think HAHAHAHAHAHH WHY NOT
oobster Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 red ones are always the smartest Says that type 20 is sold chris, but that is VERY nice.
wrxmania Posted January 7, 2006 Author Posted January 7, 2006 Plenty more where that came from though!!!
dougster Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 £600 a month!! I'm avaliable for MUCH less boys.
Gumball Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, link here it is getting put together and raced about the track. this was the car !!!!! shat
the squiggle Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 and to start a trend you can call it a STI Type UK Spec C Version 9 Prodrive Style White is my preferential colour with the RA being particularly sweet Hubba Hubba but i am a Classic man as McRae never drove a New Age{competetively} Nothing will beat a 22b for sheer beauty and functionalty
st3ph3n Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 So the secret is out! You know, the MY06 still doesn't entirely convince me. Some angles it looks great, others it doesn't. Depends on the colours as well. ALSO - is the Land Cruiser(?) in the picture behind it in the middle of a drift?
wrxmania Posted January 7, 2006 Author Posted January 7, 2006 Certainly some tyre smoke there Stephen...
vicki Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Now i've seen the video Chris I am goin to build one myself ps Cannonball 8000 is starting on STV now
Gumball Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 i was in motorpoint the day looking at the MY06 which was a wrx but with a view to getting me an STI up from derby £22k then tx, plates, tracker etc...£23k After him and the sales manager slabbered all over my car, tapped the defis, asked why it cut out itself, revved it for some reason and told me how cool it was they offered me a silly amount for mine. when i told him to get real, he mentioned his wifes couch cost 3k and now would i give him 3 k for it?? i said "i dont wanna buy your couch ffs you dont know whos been on it !!!" and thanked him for the lesson in economics and depreciation in the marketplace but id crack the jokes. when i told him to either give me more or take some off the top he went away......... phoned "Mr Winfield" one of the motorpoint partners then told me hed allowed him to take £600 off the price. I then asked him about the warranty dramas everyone had had like Ed209.............. NONSENSE HE SAID So......i wont be...regardless of what i do be buying a MY06 STI from shatpoint in Mount Vernon
wrxmania Posted January 7, 2006 Author Posted January 7, 2006 You'd get more knowledge from Arnold Clark Vauxhall across the road Chris, I reckon. If you were gonna buy a car, it must surely be a JDM spec for you - you'd only kill your UK warranty anyway. Your seats are better than the new STI too.... Brian
Gumball Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 the drama i have and more like me on sidc im sure is that my tuned car fits into this market- 1. more money than the 6k someone might have spare 2. in the price bracket for someone that does get a loan that they would buy a brand new one 3. the mods isnt a selling point to anyone other than scooby nutters 4. the 9 and 10 have come out reducing the cost of 2003 models if someone can give me circa 15k then i can go buy something new
