got our first 06 model sti delivered today,bit disappointed that subaru have went backwards again with the front seats,seats lifted straight from the wrx with airbags now fitted as standard,but not very much in the way ov lumber support,trick dials a nice feature.....and feels pretty quick in standard form even with 11 miles on the clock.

would have been better if they had gone for seats similar to those in the P1, like u have said before Gav, they got to be the best ones subaru have produced....

u got this one on as a demo?what colour?

yep on as a demo,wr blue,the reason the seats r different in the brochures r because thats euro spec car(without side airbags).Spec and features brochure does show the correctly fitted seats though!

I've got a euro spec 05 WRX with lovely STI seats, albeit just in black without the blue bits. The only advantage, other than the price difference

I have a full 3 year pan european warranty, as recently confirmed by Subaru Europe. Subaru UK have been forced to eat some humble pie.

I confirm what steph says. Got a letter from Subaru UK (IM) today, saying the car is now on the warranty database - so much for Iain Pyke saying it would never have a warranty. I suspect Fuji in Japan told IM to behave themselfs.

Mines got the Sti seats with the blue trim and the cut outs, much better looking that uk version.

hmm. I almost bought one of the o6 STIs sight unseen - based on the brochures (was getting a good tradce in price)

Glad I didn;t now, cause the seats sound pants.
