paul_honthy Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 why is it that the tractors on our roads all seem 2 be driven by ignorant drivers!?they won't let u pass and on top that, they drive with half their lights not working or there on full beem to blind u and how many of u have come round a corner only 2 come face 2 face with a tractor with big bloody forks sticking out the front! ur motor will fail an MOT for jagged edges but they can drive with them at body height!!

There is no law anywhere that states we must pull in as soon as there is 4/5 cars behind us. If that was the case we'd never get any work done and you'd never get any food! The law states that when there is a sufficient safe place to pull in it is reccomended that you do so! I dont really care if i upset anyone with this post butyouve all said your peice and this is mine. If ive upset you well you know how mad i am after seeing this so just deal with it and shut up, or sell your car and house and live somewhere within walking distance to your work!!!!!!

The number of times ive seen tossers in cars nearly meet they're maker while trying to overtake it amazing. The other week a m8 of mine was driving down past my place in his tractor when some arsehole (car driver) decided to try and over take him on a corner...... well he got what he deserved, landed on his roof in one of our fields. I went past 2 seconds later and pulled in, checked he was ok found out what happened, told him what i thought of him and that it served him right n f****d off n left him to work out what to do with his nicely written off car! Anyway iam now away to polish the tractor specially for tomorrow so i can drive about the place just to annoy you all

My road end is on a very very very bad blind bend... indicate 70/100 yds away and still tossers insist on overtaking you, endangering them, me and any other person coming round the corner. I'd love to carry the camera with me and take pics of all the dangerous manouvers that get done and post them here and send them to the police. People that make manouvers like that deserve everthing they get.

Old people and most women drivers, are far worse than tractors.

Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 while were on the subject of farmer what about when you lot think you should move all your beasts fom the field to your farm at rush hour or when you have been in a manky field and leave half of it all over the road. i used to have a bike and hated you lot. i live in a rural area to so lots of farms about me not having a dig and merely posting an observation

(Go on big man). the moaners obviously have no idea what it is like to use a slow moving vehicle. I haven't driven a tractor on the road but I have done a lot of towing with a car transporter and even a caravan. you wouldn't believe the idiocy demonstrated by car drivers who are desperate to get past just cos you are doing 50 on a 60 road. Stupid overtaking moves on blind bends, jumping through the queues. Just lunatic! For those who haven't towed; you can't brake the same as a car, you don't have the same visibility as a car and "surprise" you are not as fast as a car. So please people lets just use a bit of common sense, patience and some road manners please.

Cant be doing with young farmers nowadyas, its more like young alcoholics and d**k heads r us. Some good points there Ian. Best thing to take on the road is by far the combine.... If anyones in my area during summer... watch out! I stop for nothing and take the whole road up
zeolite Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 i remember towing a car and a lot of stuff up the A9. I could get a max of 45mph before the trailer started doing a salsa behind me. So it was Perth to Inverness at 45. I have never seen so much stupid driving a dodgy overtaking ever. As for Andy in a combine..... Can I have a shottie?
