I can't say that any of my car related purchases have been bargins (in your league anyway), but I am still chuffed at saving £800 on the price of my PFF-7 Alloys (yes they are copies with geniune Prodrive centre caps) - but it helps to have a friend in the trade..... clutdav Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 << Dav what about that splitter, that was a bargain And the lights.......... >> Marc - yes they were and I am very grateful to you for the help and time you spent putting them on for me. However, saving £800 over the price of genuine prodrive alloys stuck in my mind. Saturday is fine for me regarding your text last night. What time were you thinking of? Dave

st3ph3n Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 That's an insane price for Defis surely! Do share where you found them Craig. I've had a few bargains this year, mostly not for the car it must be said. But on the car front - HKS SSQV was a good deal, brand new for about £160. You'll struggle to beat that used! But it has to be my spare set of wheels + tyres. Almost brand new wheels and tyres off a MY05 WRX Wagon. They'd only done 20 miles according to the girl I bought them off who did lurk on these here forums. £250 all in. The 2 sets come in very handy when venturing to Knockhill.
G.T. Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 ive not bought anything for my car yet . only had it a month droplinks arb and springs top of the list after crimbo
