RS Grant Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Brian, AFAIK Big Red/Little Pink... Has been out of action due to ongoing home development by "w'ur Pete" in his new abode. I'm sure that if I'm wrong then other peeps will be along in a second to correct me!! Cheers, Grant
the squiggle Posted October 25, 2005 Author Posted October 25, 2005 Got 2 people coming to see it tonight Could be the worlds fastest selling Scoob. Grant
RS Grant Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Not surprised TBH, its a well known Owners Club car for a very good price... I'd be surprised if you still have it by Friday mate. Cheers, Grant
the squiggle Posted October 26, 2005 Author Posted October 26, 2005 Think we may have a buyer Took a forum member round the industrial estate tonight and i think the car sold itself. Got to show it another viewee tonight so i better top up the Optimax. Grant
oobster Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 i was fairly sure i knew the previous owner when you referred to it as saltire blue, and trouble with the gearbox. I have only seen your new brief once (at awd) but it kinda sticks in the mind. Shall you shed a tear or two as the red one drives off into the sunset (or to be more accurate, drives off into the pishin rain) ?

st3ph3n Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 I hope the new one can get its arse out at the hairpin at KH as well as the old one.
the squiggle Posted October 26, 2005 Author Posted October 26, 2005 Twas a happy highlight of its career and the new one should be able able to achieve even greater angles of attack. Plan to track the new car as often as financially possible. Grant

JohnSt Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 I know a guy that would happily fit the gearbox to your new car for you, gratis !!! If he got your old car of course
jamie_wood Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 << i hope the new one can get its arse out at the hairpin at KH as well as the old one. >> Yes it can. It also steps out on any other corner you want it to Its good for lighting up the tyres al the way into 5th and it also drifts down Duffis, onto the back straight, drifts part of the way onto Railway straight and back round the hairpin again I can confirm this 100%
the squiggle Posted October 28, 2005 Author Posted October 28, 2005 If it pleases Jamie then i cant bloody wait To think all that fun is gonna be mine. But as my sig says i need to go back to basics or this thing is gonna kill me. My car should be available by the middle of next week if the Blue Bomber is good to go Grant
st3ph3n Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 Am I likely to have seen this car before? It sounds very tasty indeed.
