scuba dou Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Supplied by Olly at Roger Clark Motorsport and fitted by Brian Downie at Kemnay. Fronts are AP 6 pots with 355 mm x 32 mm discs and rears are a set of new standard Brembo discs that Olly had machined to match the fronts. Brian Downie painted the rear callipers to match the fronts also. All fitted with DS 2500 pads. Many thanks to the aforementioned gents for an excellent job all round

~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 Stevpris anchor on the back of a Maersk anchor handling vessel boat - I have moved 40 rigs in my short offshore career and have seen mair anchors than i care to mention.............These vessels have circa 18,000 bhp ! but let's get back on topic >>>>>>>>>>>> Jools pimp assed brakes & those "groovey" discs
st3ph3n Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 Looking sweet Jools. That front Caliper looks utterly massive. I imagine you could stoppie like a motorbike with brakes that fierce.
Carl Davey Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 I was just going to chip in that it looked like a Maersk boat. Nice stoppers Jools, and cracking attention to detail having the discs machined to tie-in with the fronts.
G.Mac Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 It is a Maersk boat, prob one of the Danish B boats, dont think its the Beater as she was sold and then sunk in a towing accident, saying that a fair bit has changed since I left Graeme
Gumball Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 used to have the privelage of the NORTHERN SUPPORTER of the coats of Gt Yarmouth. boy can those boys move quickly !!!!how they could land a container on the deck and never get hit in crazy conditions with the boat moving all over the place i'll never know.
dipsy Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 My dad has done engine repairs in the past on maersk fleet when he worked for salamis then dales engneering
MikeABZ Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 crikey! those 6-pots are masseeeeeve! Look like they will take a fair amount to suffer from any sort of fade! Mike
craigdmcd Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 SEND THEM BACK NOW!!!, I can still see daylight betwen the discs and the rims.
