Pity bout the red flags at the start of the day - did KH carry out their threats to send anyone home??? Got some footage and will stick a link up later. Neil

st3ph3n Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 I'm just back too. It was my first time and it was fantastic fun. Met a couple of you fellows here and there, teknopete and the people that were with him. Was going to try and say hello to more, but it was too much fun either being out on track or just standing on the pitwall taking in the sights and smells. I was the large ginger fellow with the red top driving the almost entirely stock 54 plated WRX. I've managed to snap a few shots, including one of you I think higgy. Unless anyone else has a black bugeye with ludicrously massive red mud flaps and silver decals. I'll edit out the plates and post them up laters. I don't suppose anyone was behind me when I had the most incredible, trouser loading, 4 wheel drift coming out of the first corner? I'd love to see a video of that. Anyone know much about the white S2000? It was QUIIIIIIIIICK.

andrew_lally Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 Had a top day as usual at knockhill....i was driving the 95 white wrx with the damaged wing....never got passed all day woohoo....lessels in the green t-plate uk spec turbo was doing superb for only his second outing...some serious competition coming in the next few months i expect!!!! managed to reel almost everyone in on the brakes but needing some more ponies now i feel (aint we all) hahaha had a superb bit sport with the red supercharged type-r....man thats a quick little honda just like to say thanx to the organisers well done lads andy

It was QUIIIIIIIIICK. >> That'll be mine then Car ran really well all day apart from a snapped throttle cable which took a half hour fix Was pleased as nothing got past all day, also hoped the sideways antics at the hairpin amused some people

andrew_lally Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 Was a fast wee buggy indeed....but couldnt shake the wee wrx...on his tail for 5-6 laps....he gained 2-3 car lenghs by the end o the straights but i reeled it all in on the brakes and in the corners....woohoo....cmon the scoobs!!!! ps if uncle dunc wants the disc i can sort it out for him!!!! 15,000rpm....thats mental!!!
