willie Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Dear All As you may be aware Douglas Clark?s (Dougster) personal circumstances have changed over the last year which have lead him to have to sell his much cherished Impreza after many happy years of ownership. As much as he would like to remain involved with the Subaru community in Scotland, Dougster feels that he cannot fulfil the role of a Regional Organiser without being a Scooby owner and he has therefore decided to step-down from his role as Glasgow Regional organiser. The committee greatly appreciates Dougster's efforts over the past five years, and we are pleased that he has agreed to continue as a moderator on the forums. Dougster has been in discussion with the committee about standing down for a while but it is only now that the committee believe that a suitable replacement has been found. We are pleased to announce that Billy Mason (Billyboy) is taking on the role of Regional Organiser for the Glasgow area. Billy has several proposals that he has been working on to that he would like to submit to the members for discussion and their approval. Billy has the full support of the committee, and we hope that you will join us in welcoming him to his new role.
