Do it yourself is my best advice, it really isn't hard. Copy of Dreamweaver and Photoshop/Fireworks and you're up and running. FTP to your ISP provided webspace, basic domain forwarding to hide the nasty URL and jobs a good 'un.

I've done a couple but lack a little design flare...

Microsoft Front page is good and easy to use for simple websites.

Get a guide or a small program like evrsoft which free. That gives you the basics of html to get you under way. After that things get a little more complicated mysql and phpmyadmin.

Check out Crimson Mercenaries my Star Wars Gaming Clan. Sad maybe, but I like the films the games and PC's.
