From Crail e-newsletter:

This Sunday (31st of October) MAX POWER returns to Crail for the last magazine day of the year. Jet action from Fireforce and Pyromaniac, plus a bonfire like never seen before. Heels on Wheels will be back at the tented private dance area (adults only). The MAX guys will judge the Show and Shine. Club and trade area - we are still taking bookings, please email your requests for availability and early access to the site.

Car Sumo will take place in front of the tented marquee after 12 noon. We are looking for web groups/forums for guys/girls to take on the MAX team for this - volunteers/victims please email. Engine destruction will follow. The two biggest fire starters in Scotland will light the bonfire at 6pm for the grand finale.

Keith Cowies mental Nissan Skyline R32 will be on hand as well he is hoping to beat the 10 second 1/4 mile bracket set by the Hyper lemon JUN tuned Skyline a while back. It did not run at Edzell last Sunday because of the conditions, but he is going to launch the beast for its first time on trac kand its Scottish first run in anger. Be prepared to be blown away by this very special car its capable of over 200 MPH and running with over 1000BHP the engine alone is rumoured to be worth over £30,000, its had loads of weight shaved off it and should be the fastest and quickest normal fuelled road based car at this Crail event if not the fastest road car at any of our events ever - it certainly has the potential for it anyway.

As well as this beast, we have Calder's newly built 700 BHP 2.2 litre Subaru which was doing 10.09s, Dee is hoping to get low 10s with this 4wd car on Sunday. Calder's believes it's the most powerful 2.2 litre Subaru in the Uk or even further afield. Dont miss these cars in action this Sunday 31st October at Crail Racewaywith Max power magazine.

The following weekend - Saturday 6th November - sees the GMC Kingdom stages at Crail Raceway. This annual event attracts over 80 entries and is awesome to watch. Action from 6R4?s and fire spitting Cossie?s and Scooby's, battling alongside classic Minis and Escorts. This event pulls competitors from all over the UK with each finishing car having completed over 45 miles at a single stage venue on tarmac. Spectators are reminded to please follow the marshals instructions. Cost of entry is £5.00 per person. If you hang around afterwards, you will be treated to a huge bonfire and firework display, which takes place on the airfield and run by the local Round Table. With close to £5000 of fireworks, it?s a sight not to be missed.

I was pax with Miss Scooby STI in the blk type r. We did a few runs, 2 against the purple pulsar, 1 each but afterwards we saw it had come on a trailer & we had 2 suitcases in the boot!!!

Crd scoob goes like a rocket but could do with a tidy up, still showing the scars from totb 3.

& yeah Dougster ther was plenty of the 2 Bs about. Not by us though!!!!face-icon-small-happy.gif

Hi

Me n Wrc No 1 were down the track and it was amazing. I love the power of the wagon!! Its our baby!!!

Miss Scooby Sti I have to agree with you in every sense and admit that i would love a shot of the 700bhp Subaru but i can keep dreaming it is just a shame it only has one seat!!! As i think its a Nos bottle that is the constant passenger in the CRD Scoob. Maybe one day Maybe one day!!!!!
